The only reason 1.5 is harder, is because the bosses take forever to kill. You can bomb your way to 1cc in BL, but in 1.5 bombs do crap, especially to the last boss.
Deathsmiles was the first cave game I 1CC. It is easier than mushi bl if you go through lvl 1 mode.

I think Deathsmiles will be my next 1cc attempt. Unless Mars Matrix arrives tomorrow and rocks my socks off

So, that's why up until Stage 3 I think Mushi Futari 1.5 and BL are on par for me, difficulty wise... I just don't bomb, or more to say: I always forget to bomb. Could that be? That 1.5 and BL are practically the same difficulty if you don't bomb?

1.5 is a lot harder in my opinion. In BL your shot does more damage and there is more slowdown in the stages and in bosses. Also the bullets in 1.5 seems faster to me.

Triggerheart last night, apparently the strategies i developed for radiant silvergun/ikaruga have not been helpful here. Its more bullethellish.
Ah that game. Its pretty tough to 1cc because you have to utilize that swing and make sure you toss it well. If you want.. you could make it easier by getting a low score so you don't have to fight the extra boss forms or Faintear.
One thing weird, is the last boss doesn't seem like a boss at all. Just toss shit around and he'll die without having to dodge.
Yeah, I definetely found my main game for now: It really is Mushihimesama Futari BL for me. And funny thing is: After taking a break from EspRa.De. for a couple of days and playing mushifutari... It just feels a lot easier than before... ^^
I just got back into Futari and decided to finally get BL after failing to 1CC 1.5 on original. I managed to 1CC BL original so I'm pretty excited about that! Now I'm going to go back and 1CC 1.5 original with my recent realization that my rank was way too high for all my 1.5 attempts. I found it really hard to not play for some kind of score even when you are playing for survival. This was causing my rank to be too high and I could never finish it. Now I know to bomb more. At least for now.
Then I'm going to try Maniac! Then back to Ketsui.
Espgaluda all the way. In fact, I feel odd when I say this but I'm liking it even more than Ketsui. Perhaps it's because I find the patterns a bit easier to navigate through compared to Ketsui's lack of mercy. Also, the music is more happy true-la-la techno punchi punchi that puts me in the mood to sing along Stages 3 & 4 songs, which I think are the catchiest.
NOW REACHES THE FATAL ATTRACTION BE DESCRIBED AS "HELLSINKER". DECIDE DESTINATION.
DOJ [I suck.], Gradius ReBirth [I REALLY suck.], and EspGaluda [finally, I don't have to play sideways [too slow otherwise in PCSX2, I wish I had a JPS2], yay MAME].
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.
I started playing Espgaluda II on the ipad. Good stuff so far. I beat Twinbee 3 Famicom on normal a few days ago. I played a bit of Over Horizon on Famicom today. Very fun so far. It's crazy how it even had a code posted in Nintendo Power.
Focusing on Futari BL, but jumping to Dragon Blaze when I get annoyed with futari.
I still make a lot of stupid mistakes on the 3rd level, like trying to leech gems from the large beetles by looping around them. I end up taking a bullet to the face when I should have stayed back...
Got DFK on Christmas. I think my favorite mode is 1.51 but GOD DAMN does it get hard if you abuse hypers. Still working on Ketsui, I have my stage 1 and 2 routes down. Working on stage 3 right now for score, then I'm probably gonna just play for survival on stages 4+5 until I get a 1-ALL, Still not too sure though, I really wanna break 100M in that game.
Asteroids. Let's face it, it's better than whatever shit you're playing right now.
Also dipped into Cyvern and quite enjoy it. Have heard it's very difficult but measured use of the blue wyvern's electro-homing beams seems to get me pretty far without too many casualties.
Kind of burnt out on ketsui since getting the 1-All so enjoying some espgaluda for the time being , hoping to make my old tateha 30 mill at least 40 mill.

Cyvern is a very good but also very underrated game imo. Small bullets (also hard to notice because of color ) may be annoying , it also adds to hardness of the game.
