I really hope all this lolextend and Double Break stuff is put into a separate mode, otherwise this game has been pretty much reduced from a commercial-quality game to something I'd see in Cave arrange bullshit.

Well I guess I'll pick up this game (via a friend in Japan) anyway. Anyone have an idea how much it'll run for?

Actually the current web trial is just as generous with the extends. Instead of a robot voice it uses a tinkling wind chime effect for each 1up. I always get an extend the first time I enter break mode.

Double-Break is just accumulating those same extends at double speed.

The music is growing on me i must say. Looking at the original c76 nico vids which has the original music I cant understand how I could possibly think they were better then the current music. (scratches head) I do hope Yotsubane changes the title/ menu screen music as its the same as what used in BWR (although X.X didnt write it as its music from a 3rd party circle that makes freeware video game music)


Does anyone know anything about the guy behind this? Looking at the vids his uploaded to niconico he likes fighters and DeathSmiles and Futari (PCB god mode).

I do hope he doesnt stop at crimson clover and becomes another siter skain or even goes commercial. It would be great to see what new stuff he might come up with in the future. (A harder CC Black Label would be awesome-sauce x win)

Where are you seeing this? His mylist is private and he hasn't uploaded any of those.

Anyway, I think messe-sanoh is Japan only. The site does require an account. I know some sites like w-canvas will ship internationally though.

@ Elixir I was looking on Yotsubane's blog for the original trailers that had the old music and thats where I got the links from. A word of advice mate, this forum and many of its regular members as quite anti-piracy and tend to take a dim view on anyone asking for roms. I just thought i would point this out to all you new folk, who due to all the Cave PGM mame posts might think the mods allow rom swopping to happen all the time. Well thats not the case, the way I see it is that the mods tend to turn a blind eye to ppl bending the rules for mame only (ie posting the keywords for rom google searches)

However anything non mame (or freeware) inc doujin games are strictly out of bounds and even asking for roms is against the rules. PPl here including me tend to keep that sort of shit for PMs


Can someone tell me how many copies are expected to be produced? For the better quality doujins that like Crimson Clover are sold both at comiket and retail I would expect additional batches of stock to be produced if its selling well, (like all the touhous which are allways for sale).

The reason im asking is that I just cant afford CC just now and plan on importing a copy a month or 2 from now and would hate it to sell out. (yes ill be playing a dodgy copy untill i get hold of a real copy. Im a evil pirating scum)
