Nah, no bums bothering me...Where I work I run into bums on a daily basis. Boring chat between co-workers has brought upon the discussion (and running joke) of whether it's possible to kill a bum and get away with it. I think it is, personally.

Regarding bums, there's actually a nice Christmas anime, Tokyo Godfathers, which involves a group of bums threatened by juvenile assailants. (See how nicely I connect the last couple of topics in the thread. )

Regarding your question: Apparently WikiLeaks' largest source of funding is the Wau Holland Foundation, which in turn is associated with the Chaos Computer Club (CCC).

A: Well it depends. Are you stuck forever in it? If then, I'd choose a big sandbox game (Just Cause 2) or a roguelike (Nethack or ADOM). At least I'd have a lot of stuff to do before getting ultimately bored and going insane.

If you can get in, have your fun and bail out whenever you want, then pretty much any game I enjoy. I'd pick Spelunker HD since that's what I'm playing at the moment. Being the protagonist in a RPG sounds fun too.

A: Yeesh, your question is complex.. I'm perceived as being rather independent and like able. And, it's known that I'll spend time at home working on artistic type stuff. So, it's not like they always come and get me, but I'm kept informed, and always welcomed when I show up. I have a natural ability to find a common interest with people, a series of quick questions and guesses, and I'll find something in common to talk about. I get kinda chatty, and will talk to just about anybody next to me. I also try to bring an attitude of positivity, encouragement, growth, and self awareness to the people I am around. So, most of my friends don't ever worry about me in social settings, 'cause I'll just start introducing myself on my own. I like people, and am curious about how they live and perceive the world. Semi-weary around women though. I've gotten a few of those really attractive, hyper cool chicks that men compete over, just by being my self, and treating them like a person when I see them. These women get hit on nonstop,and like it when some one treats them normal, but get really intrigued why you aren't really going for it. After some time of being friends they have pounced on me, all `I have always wanted to..`
Q: Saying there is a total of 100,000 actual shmup players in the world that play a few different shmups a year with even a casual concern of their score. Across all games and skill levels, what do you think your actual global rank is? I would be pretty happy if I'm in the top 5%, so.. Example, I think I am #3,496 place. I would say I would be in the latter 40% namely that 60% of the world shmup players would be significantly better than me> Shmups for me is something I can pick up and put down. Spend 10 mins on or an afternoon. Tends to be bursts of 30 mins.

Q) So how would you consider your shmup playing type? Like do you play in short bursts do you own lots or just a couple. Console or arcade type player? New to the scene or rocking the galaga hardcore?

A: The one that becomes better by not playing. :P Seriously though, I tend to do better at a game after not playing it for a while. Not exclusive to shmups either.

I usually play for 0.5 to 3 hours at a time, but not every day. Once per 2-3 days or so on average. Many of the shmups I play I play for survival, either because it's more fun for me that way, or it does result in a higher score due to ending credits further in the game. I also tend to cycle games around so that they don't burn me out, like they tend to do after STGTs.

I'm a PC gamer mainly, console second; never been to arcades since there aren't any here. Definitely not new at this point (played my first shmup in early 1993, looped Axelay the next year, but then it was a very long break until I got hooked on Touhou in early 2007), but experience-wise still a beginner.

I dont think it will suck. I dont think people who played the frist two will like it right away though. Like the way Fallout 3 had the fallout TBS guys throwing a hissy fit. I never played the first two so I welcome this one

A1: There are different categories of "worst purchase".
For annoyance, a counterfeit book from an Amazon marketplace seller (refunded).
For uselessness, videogames I never played like Worms World Party and Total Annihilation.
For disappointment, some full-price CDs that I'd rather classify as shovelware.
For bad deals, the worst I can remember is a 6€ fruit juice at an elegant bar.

A2: I pay taxes to be fleeced wholesale by people I elected, but on a personal level I'm rather wary.

A: I sold a couple Cult Ritual records and tapes on ebay for about $270. I payed around $35 for all of them together.

A: Red Stone White Muscat, one of the favorite wines of Queen Elizabeth II. That particular vintage I tasted was from 2000. It's made by Massandra from a muscat variety that is basically limited to a rock (the eponymous Red Stone) in Crimea it grows under. Very fine indeed, but a considerable pain in the ass to get due to small-scale production. You can get a 2005 vintage bottle for a relative song (20–25 euro before shipping), but long-seasoned exemplars can get pretty costly (up to ~200 euro a bottle from shops if they even have it in stock), so that is definitely out of my league. I'm no connoisseur, and take no particular interest in alcohol, let alone expensive, but this was far above anything I've ever gotten in a shop — that's for sure.
