It is impossible to know. But it was submitted to peer review almost exactly 48 hours ago, and when peer review passes within 48 hrs of submission, they delay it for 48 hours from the time of submission -- or so the evidence suggests. If this is true, you should see the game on there in about 15 minutes. I'm watching intently too...short sean wrote:what time GMT will it be coming out?

Oh, and if that's not enough for you, there's a Challenge Mode, where there are no shields or I-Beams... no defenses whatsoever. The power-up icons that would normally gain you such power are replaced with other icons. Thus you power up your offenses faster. So the game is more intense that you can never hide, and more intense that you can decimate faster.Jason wrote:Yes.Jeneki wrote:Does it get to the intense parts quicker?Matthew Doucette wrote: - more intense gameplay

According to the unwritten rules of XBLIG, it should be out NOW. Not too happy with all the uncertainty of the system. It's partially our fault for being late though.
Here's the trailer to keep you happy in the mean time:

I'll start a new thread when the game comes out and post the trailer and download link in it. And then mention it here to forward everyone over.

I can't wait to kill only 10% of the enemies!
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.
An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.
Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

Since it's infinite, you only kill 0%! Tough math to swallow!
But for your accurate types:
dec·i·mate (ds-mt)
tr.v. dec·i·mat·ed, dec·i·mat·ing, dec·i·mates
1. To destroy or kill a large part of (a group).
2. Usage Problem
a. To inflict great destruction or damage on: The fawns decimated my rose bushes.
b. To reduce markedly in amount: a profligate heir who decimated his trust fund.
3. To select by lot and kill one in every ten of.

We use #1, #2a, and #2b. And we are aware of the #3 origins!!! Not the first time I've had to say this!

Maybe we should have called it Megamate? Kill 1,000,000 times that of the group. Talk about overkill. But then people would think it was a dating game.

Apparently the game has passed and been approved, and should be available right here:
http://marketplace.xbox.com/games/media ... 0258550717
But the link is broken. When this link works, if I haven't already caught it, let me know!
Also I hope everyone please gives our game a rating, as they are few and hard to come by now with the ratings glitch in the Games Library (XBox dashboard).

Decimation X3 is officially release, and I started a new thread on it here:
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... 68&start=0
There's still problems with it showing up on the Xbox 360 Dashboard (and Microsoft has been notified of this), but you can download it to your Xbox 360 here: http://marketplace.xbox.com/games/media ... 0258550717
Please rate it. Ratings are very important.
And... enjoy!
(Should I start a thread on scores?)
