MMP suffers from a tedious scoring system, but at least it's fun to play. PS suffers from a fundamentally broken scoring system, and isn't fun to play. Both games are/have been overhyped, strictly due to availability issues, which stems from the PCB owners self-justifying their purchase.
At the end of the day, you're better off playing what suits you, not what the current game of the month is.
So why no love for Pink Sweets?

Is this a personal opinion you have formed by actually playing both these games, or are you just trolling by stating this as blind fact?Elixir wrote:MMP suffers from a tedious scoring system, but at least it's fun to play. I can agree to some extent on MMP overhype, since it is a fun game, but I've probably seen more bad opinions about PS than good ones. And for the few that do like PS, have also admited its not going to be everyone's cup of tea here, hardly making it overhyped.Elixir wrote:Both games are/have been overhyped, strictly due to availability issues, which stems from the PCB owners self-justifying their purchase.

I owned a MMP board and played someone else's PS board when they were into the genre a few years ago. Yes, it's just my opinion, but there's various things I don't like about both games. I'm still getting the 360 version though, because hopefully PS with a turbo stick/pad might be fun. I just didn't have that option with the PCB, and it shouldn't really be a requirement in order to enjoy a game properly to begin with.Dave_K. wrote:Is this a personal opinion you have formed by actually playing both these games, or are you just trolling by stating this as blind fact?
We don't do that here. But seriously, I think a good portion of Ketsui praise on this forum originates from people praising the unattainable. They don't even have the game. I wouldn't be at all surprised at the people praising the games are either self-justifying or bandwagoning something they don't have, not unlike Ketsui itself.Dave_K. wrote:At the end of the day, people should form their own opinions by actually playing the game.
Re: So why no love for Pink Sweets?
i like the game do i..?
there are less than 10 people on this forum whose opinion is worth listening to when it comes to pink sweets and you aren't one of them
regarding ketsui: the interest is not at all sudden, it's always been there & steadily growing. the only thing different about 2009 is people who normally wouldn't have cared about the top 25 poll decided to participate.
pink sweets over-hyped....
you obviously don't know what you're talking about

You can't be serious. It's probably the least desired Cave SH3 game by a mile outside of Japan.Elixir wrote:Then tell me, why is it the least popular Cave game within the last decade in Japan, yet one of the most desired outside of Japan?
