So...
How's NCSX for those who preordered Radirgy Noa 360 from them?

Mine is still in "Order Received" status.
I find it weird because they always processed it on the exact release date, sometimes sooner, but never later.

I bought that shooting gameside magazine from NCSX, and even after its release date I placed the order, yet its still at "Order Received" status now. gonna send em an email about this, but maybe somethings up with them if I'm not the only one...

I actually asked them already, and got a response about 12 minutes later:

Dear NCS Customer,

We received a shipment of magazines today containing what was supposed to be Shooting Gameside Vol. 1 but our newsprint supplier sent Arcadia Magazine (December 2010) by mistake. We'll be putting that magazine up for sale on Monday.

We have contacted the supplier already to alert them of the error and we should receive the correct magazine next week. Apologies for the continued delay.

I got an e-mail from NCS too regarding the magazine. If you think that's bad, I'm still waiting on my Kotobukiya Rockman Plastic Figure and it's going on a month and a half!(when places like Amiami and Hobby Search got theirs on release day back in Sept.!) I appreciate they went with cheaper shipping to keep costs down, but I called 5-6 weeks ago since my last inquiry. They're awesome when it comes to games or game magazines, but not sure I'll be going with them in regards to anything else. @_@

Order from me and you would have had them a week ago..
I have the magazines in stock and can ship next day. Check the site in the sig.

... And I'm cheaper to boot!

It's worth considering, but with media mail, it only worked out to $3.85 more expensive, and assuming they get them in next week it'll still come in much, much faster than your included SAL shipping were you to ship them now.

Speaking of Futari 1.01, did any website other than Play Asia fail to give the DLC for pre-orders? I'm looking to place a pre-order for DFK and I'm wondering where to do that to reduce the odds of missing the DLC again... Thanks :)

NCS went above and beyond letting people know if they were getting the DLC code or not. There are few import shops I trust more.

It might be a little late to be thinking of this though:

Please note that orders placed now may not ship on the first day or release. New orders placed after today's date may ship a few days after the launch of the game in Japan. Thanks for reading.

Just checked Videogameimports and they'll receive a shitload of other titles at the same time as DDP-DFK, all of the other ports, INCLUDING DOJ-BLEX if someone is still looking to pick up a copy: http://www.videogameimports.com/sw_news.php?id=149#149

You know, has anyone heard back from NCSX about that Shmup mag? It was supposed to be resolved a few weeks ago wasn't it?

There was an email update back on November 17:
NCS wrote:We've been informed by our supplier that there is a delay in our shipment Shooting Gameside Vol. 1. We should receive it by early December.

If you wish to make any changes to your preorder, please let us know. Thanks.

So, what's the chances you think that NCS will get this game out by Wednesday? They tend to get them a day early. If not, i'll be waiting 'til Monday or so for my game. :(

In their e-mail newsletter, they mentioned they'd arrive on Thursday, so hopefully we get them before Monday!

Edit: Copy/Paste from their Update for today (11/23):
NCS wrote:Two Thanksgivings Holidays This Week
Yesterday was the "Kinro kansha no hi" or "Labor Thanksgiving" holiday in Japan and all of our vendors were on holiday. Sadly, that meant that no one was able to ship DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu out. All of our shipments are being dispatched tonight however but please note that Thursday is Thanksgiving in the United States and everything's going to be closed for the holiday. We'll return to normal business ops on Friday of this week and we'll try to get shipments out on Friday even though UPS is only working a half-day that day.
So there you have it.

And since it's been bumped, an update for us NCSers:
NCS wrote:DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu 1.5 Shipped
Our Japanese vendors dispatched the regular and limited editions of DDPD 1.5 last night and the games are on the way. Please note however that tomorrow is the Thanksgiving Holiday in the States and UPS, Fedex, and the USPS are not working. The packages from Japan will however be moving through the system while everyone is eating turkey. NCS expects most if not all of our shipments to arrive on Friday of this week. Please note that Friday is only a half-day for UPS but we'll endeavor to get packages out.

PA is also very slow with DDP. All the previous Cave releases shipped on wednesday, so Fedex and UPS orders were likely to arrive on friday. This time it just says preparing order and will likely ship tomorrow which means delivery on monday or even only on tuesday.

Update from www.videogameimports.com/

"DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu Ver 1.5 Arrival Date and Price Increases & Decreases...
As we will receive a larger allocation of the Limited Edition than expected, we will be reducing the price to GBP 86.99 (inclusive of VAT). People who have made preorders will pay the reduced price.

As we are getting ever closer to selling out of our first allocation of the regular edition, we will very soon be increasing the price of the regular version to GBP 62.99 (inclusive of VAT) for all new orders/preorders.

Regarding the arrival date: normally all of the Cave games have a Friday official street date in Japan and our suppliers send the games to us on Tuesday so that we can receive them by the Friday street date. We have recently found out that Tuesday was a bank holiday in Japan so our suppliers have only sent the games today (Wednesday), so we're not yet 100% certain that we'll receive the shipment on Friday, although we are hopeful. We should know for certain by tomorrow and will update this news item as soon as we find out."

Damn bank holiday...

Yeah, that's the same reason NCS is running late on this... except it sucks double for us since Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Cave sure timed this one for maximum annoyance for us importers...

Thanks to Walmart's bundle deal last week, I have a brand new MadCatz SE equipped with Seimitsu parts I had lying around to play this with!... when it actually gets here.

Play Asia has DFK confirmed as region locked now (unsurprisingly), and they seem to have started shipping orders :)

Next week it is then.
If NCSX ships mine Friday like they are saying, I expect it on Saturday. Even their cheapest ground shipping has always meant I get my order the next day... Although this is a very busy time of year for the post office.
