PS2->PC-Engine Converter?

Saw this and was really curious if anyone had tried it. Awhile back I was thinking about making a stick for PC-Engine shmups and the like, but this would be the absolutely cheapest alternative. Anyone have any info on it? Thanks!

I know a lot of people use the tototek PS2-Saturn converters and they work well, I imagine these work great as well.

I have this one and the Tototek PS2 to Saturn adapter and both work fine.

The only problem is that there's no option to switch the controller to 6-button mode or even 3-button mode (although admittedly, few games support more than 2 buttons).

It's possible to play the Super CD-Rom2 version of Forgotten Worlds with a 2-button endowed PCE/TG-16 D-pad setup...it's just that you'll be using the "Select" button to rotate the gun 360 degrees. For the U.S. market, TTI never did properly release the NEC Avenue Pad 3 or even the Avenue Pad 6 & just released the SCD game of FW by itself. Would've been nice if they did so (but at the expense of having a higher MSRP at speciality video game retailers Stateside if said optional NEC D-pad was included as a bundled set).

Of course, by picking up an optional NEC Avenue Pad 3 (or NEC Avenue Pad 6 variant) D-pad, the three button scheme will be at one's disposal to play properly. There's a handy switch on the Avenue Pad 6 that allows one to switch from the standard 2-button setup to the more flexible 6-button setup which is perfect for the handful of PCE game titles that do support the more robust 3-button/6-button scheme.
