I Beat R-Type Delta!!!

Yay, I just beat R-Type Delta on normal mode. That was one of the weirdest last stages ever, except maybe R-Type Final. I'm not sure what was weirder. Level six was awfully hard though.

That's a really tough game. I've 1CC'd it to the 6th level but haven't done it in awhile.

Which ship did you use?

Nice one! It's a toughy, I only just managed to 1CC it on easy last year. (after buying it on the day it came out)

Level 6 boss gives me trouble - dodging those little sperms he shoots out sometimes seems like blind luck.

Final boss bothers me too. All that dodging is too much for me although I've had more luck with the Pow, those big fat missiles it fires help a lot.

Great game.

I used the R13. Yah, it wasn't a 1CC yet. Maybe someday. =) I didn't think the level six sperm things were that bad, they were just like the ones in R-Type Final, only closer together. Level 7 though, dodging all of those things was like blind luck there for me.

Its the last boss where you have to dodge all the randomly appearing sperm\tentacle things that does seem to require a little luck. It took me a couple tries but I managed it too, certainly no 1CC though.

Try surviving the final boss on hard. With the R-9 Delta. That requires a LOT of timing and speed changes. I only did it once, and I... don't want to ever do something like that again.
