I decided to hook up my 360 to my tated CRT to see what Guwange would look like and I found myself playing this. I managed to absolutely obliterate my previous Black Label Original Score. I went from a top of about 290 million to 320 and then to 460. Here's a picture.

However I was playing it on Arcade mode, not 360 like I normally do. Is Arcade mode easier in any significant way, or was I just properly in the zone? I'm trying to work out just how beneficial the extra screen space is. 170 million points kind of looks like a vote in its favour, though.

EDIT: On closer inspection I was playing 360 mode after all.

...this is singularly the worst post I have ever read

I'd rather hear about region free bullshit, inaccurate dialogue translations, or even pre-order updates over this. Can we have an affiliate link thread so we all know not to read it?

So, I might be asking a dumb question here, but humor me. Is there really no way to get the 1.01 DLC aside from getting the limited edition? At all? That would be rather unfortunate...

Also, I'm planning on ordering the Platinum Hits version of Mushihimesama Futari one of these days. Anything I should be warned about?

You might be able to source the DLC card on Ebay (not likely) or Yahoo Auctions Japan (likely).

Erm, can you define a "few"? I'd be looking for something reasonable, but I'm not sure what the going price on the cards is.

*shrug* if anyone knows the going rate that'd be cool - my YAJ-fu is weak today.

I've seen them sell on these forums between $10-25. I don't know if that's just for the code or card.

I don't see any on Yahoo Japan.

Oh, that's a perfectly reasonable price. I figured it would be exorbitantly high since the collector's edition is out of print...

I'd also like a code, if anyone has one to spare. Not having a mode would drive me crazy, even if I don't really care all that much about playing it.

I got mine for around 1,600 JPY. Very reasonable. You should be able to find one for similar.

I think we're beyond asking at this point. Pretty much the only ones left are from people who've been holding on to them for sale.

Yeah, I know. I'm asking if anyone has a code for sale. I don't expect charity.

No i get that, but i mean you're not going to find one from the likes of the people on this board. You're probably going to have to look at YAJ. There are still some unopened LEs floating around. You may have an easier time finding one of those and then reselling your SE copy.

I broke my 1.01 code open day one. It was one of the only reasons I wanted the port.

Hang on - Let me get something straight.

1.01 is only available thru this card? You can't just pay with MS points and download it ????

No other way to unlock except this first print card?? Surely there is another way!

correct (since ppl will be buying sealled first edition LEs and opening them up for the card, Ild expect the price to go up and up as these copies get rarer)

No, Non, Nein, Iie, Nej. There is no legitimate way to unlock the 1.01 content aside from the code available with all LEs and first print run SEs. There may be ways using a JTAG Xbox, but i've never bothered to look into it.

I have a sealed copy of the regular edition (Not platinum re-released) of Mushi Futari. Is there supposed to be a 1.01 code inside? Or does "first print run" mean the first batch of regular edition discs?

My understanding is that you should be able to tell based on the spine number. Though as I bought my card on YAJ I have no idea if it was packaged inside the case or just attached to the front a la DSIIX.

Hey folks, quick question about Mega Black Label DLC: In the interest of nto reading the whole 50 pages, I remember there was an issue where once you downladed the MBL add on, the game would subsequently stutter/get choppy, even if installed on the hard drive. Can anyone confirm whether this is still an issue or if it has been fixed? I would hate to get the content to "break" the game in any way...

No it was never fixed. Yes it is still an issue, though the conditions to trigger it seem random. My 20 GB HDD experiences this issue, my 120 GB does not.

It's not that big of a issue, delete game reinstall and redownload Black Label.
