I am a newbie to collecting shmups.
I just have a couple of questions.
Is there a complete list of titles that have been released on the various consoles? I had a look through some previous pages, but maybe it is further back.
This might sound stupid, but what does PCB stand for?
Does anyone know if titles such as Raiden III, Espgaluda, Mushihimesama, and Do Don Pachi Daioujou will receive a PAL release? Getting an import console is pretty far down on my list of priorities, but these sweet games surely are tempting. I feel inclined to buy these games anyway, but would feel cheated if they did get a PAL release eventually.
Finally, are there any promising games on the horizon?
Any other websites and resources you can point me towards would also be appreciated.

Welcome aboard!
It's not quite complete, but probably the most comprehensive shmup-list in english is at our very own http://www.shmups.com/. Just enter the Xenocide Files.
PCB stands for "PC Board".
It's very unlikely any of those titles will be released in PAL territories. Not impossible, since at least the first and second Psikyo collections (Strikers 1945/Strikers 1945 II and Sengoku Ace/Sengoku Blade, respectively) did get released. But very unlikely.
As for upcoming shmups, there's at least Homura, Shikigami No Shiro III, Rajirugi, Under Defeat...shmups are still kicking.

No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
