Hello...I'm located in Gainesville, GA and have small scale shmup/fighter meets every few weekends. I currently have 2 candy cabs setup for play and a couple of woody cabs under restoration.

My collection is rapidly growing and includes lots of cave, raizing and toaplan pcbs plus neo geo, cps2, naomi, etc.

We usually steer clear of the "hardcore" atmosphere and just chill out and play some games.

The next meet will probably be sometime in August. I'll update with more details as it gets closer.

I know this thread is a bit dated, and I'm sorry if it is bad taste to resurrect it. I'm living in Midtown and am regularly in Alpharetta/Buford/Lawrenceville. My selection is still pretty weak at the moment, but am working on getting more games to play. Anytime you Georgia people are around, feel free to shoot me a message!

My place should be ready to host a meetup by the end of November. I have 2 cabs and a 360. It isn't large, but it is conveniently located to public transit and hot wings/burgers/sandwiches.

I just need a little more time to get my "move in" chores finished up =)

I live near Nashville, TN and would even consider driving down there for a nice meet if the day worked out and such. I don't know much people around here into shmups or arcades in general . I've got a Sega Blast City sitting in my room right now, tated and ready.

Sounds good man! Sounds like good fun. Here in Nashville we have Game Galaxy arcade, they have a few candy cabs and such over there, good stuff. We are pretty lucky to have them. They don't have the best location, but its still an amazing place. Which makes me wonder why the arcade collector scene isn't big around here... I barely know anyone around here that does besides me.

Nashville has been great recently here, good weather, been driving the Jeep with the top down! Cold front coming in though...I'm ready for spring. I like how you have a liqour store close too lol.

Hit up The Score some time, there is one in Cool Springs. It is a gaming store that does parties, and as soon as I move up there (mid to the end of next year) we will start doing more shooters at their events.
