I hope you go for a higher score :)
So far it is, according to the languages of the others in the Top 10 (all others have Japanese for their language, except for MAT@DGZ whose language is Chinese).

I'm listed as "gameoverDude189" there, since it wouldn't allow just "gameoverDude" (probably taken already I guess, so I started throwing in some numbers at random when I created this PSN ID).

Hopefully I'll see you there soon in the top 10. Looks like you've just got one more week now. :)

One time I had the calibration go totally batshit before playing Deadstorm Pirates (it failed hilariously, with the cursor drunkenly whizzing around as if it had one too many bottles of rum, then stumbling off the screen - LOL) , but a trip to the XMB's Motion Controller Calibration fixed that. Now I'll have to pick up The Shoot someday- I liked what I played in that demo. Big3/Razing Storm and The Shoot are the games that really had me sold on the Move. Kinect who?

On Deadstorm Pirates, I'll save the Mountain Stream for last- especially if I'm in ranking mode with the 3 credit limit. IMO that's the hardest stage out of the first four.

Just got the game and only had enough time for one credit.. am 8th, just one place behind :D
The game plays well, but looks quite fast, I don't find it to be hard.

I see you there, Smraedis. Good. :)

Shame about not being able to hit the hanging light in the shop during stage 1-4, but thankfully that pillar nearby can do in a pinch. The arcade version will let you milk the wood shelves thing at the end for more damage if you have already knocked it down (take a moment to let the last standing enemy drag the camera over before you kill him, then start pounding on it), but I couldn't do that on the PS3. Otherwise the PS3 Razing Storm is perfect- any other tricks you know on the arcade will be good.

The Stage 1 BGM reminds me more than a bit of Blazing Lazers. Cool stuff, just like the rest of the soundtrack.

WILD_LOSE is amazing with that 4.35M record. 4.38 M. It seems he's out to prove HZH's theories regarding Max score. Just another 30K to go for him.

SEGA should release HOTD 4 and Virtua Cop 4 too, moreover they should port Ghost Squad and give them also Gcon 3 support.

By the way I have just read in other forum that Dead Storm Pirates it is not included on the Bluray, and that is a downloadable game. Is it true???? I hat DLC please tell me it is not true.

Dead Storm Pirates IS in the Bluray, but you just need to install it. You'll need 3.8 GB of free HDD space and maybe 5 minutes. Some other disc games like Haze will require an install.

I agree on all the above Sega games. Ghost Squad should be GS Evolution, the newer version with all weapons/outfits/levels unlocked. Sega really ought to bring out the whole HotD arcade series on PS3, just like Namco did with Point Blank for PS2 (Gunvari Collection). HotD OK2 needs to at least look on par with HotD 4 when it's on PS3.

I got my copy this week and it's simply amazing. If anyone has only the slightest interest in lightgun games you need this game!

I've only played Razing Storm once in the arcade before so this was practically a new game for me. The gameplay is incredibly tight, non-stop action, best visuals ever seen in a lightgun shooter and stuffed with great ideas. Btw how do I reach the fifth mission?

Deadstorm Pirates is also very good, never seen it before.

I saw you two (gameoverdude and smraedis) in the leaderboards, great job!

The 4th stage is the last one. Just keep your bridge safe from the missiles during the Emergency Mission in stage 3 (get as many dogtags as you can, and don't let too many missiles touch down).

I know the ending makes it look like there should be a 5th mission. The Delta Squad story mode will eventually tie up the loose ends from the arcade plot though- you end up in the Girasol Factory later on, meeting with Alpha Squad to pick up where the arcade's story leaves off.

Here's some weird idea I just thought of: Suicide once against the final boss. Consider not raising your guard when the final boss' last form fires the hyper laser. You'll eat a hit and you won't be able to fire for a moment. But now you are invulnerable for a short time. By the time your invulnerable period is up, you should be getting close to finishing it off.

Problem:

I got the Move, the Move gun attachment and the navigation controller. So I attach the gun part, start playing Razing Storm demo... and get immensely disappointed, because the gun only has one button easily accessible (the trigger), and quick access to the shield button is vital in Razing Storm. So, is there a way to use the navigation controller (or a regular controller) for shield/reload in the retail version? In the demo, if I start with the navigation controller, it becomes player two. What about Dead Storm Pirates, does it require more buttons than the trigger?

no, you cannot properly play Razing Storm with the gun attachment.

Deadstorm Pirates on the other hand, just uses the Trigger, so you can play it fine with the gun attachment.

Namco could get an extra $20 rather easily if they made a wireless reload pedal that copied the function of the Move button (TBH, I'd probably be willing to part with $40 for a really good one). There'd need to be some way to link it to a certain Move motion control unit.

Ok, thanks. I feel pretty stupid for buying this useless gun attachment, even though it looks very funky. Anyway, I have a GunCon 3 so I'll use that... I just hate those ugly ir-units I have to put on top of the tv :( And it would be nice to have a gun for player 2 too..

Sega need to roll out the archives on Wii and PS3.

Virtua Cop collection? The Jurassic Park gun games? A proper port of HOTD and HOTD4 for the first time? Hell, maybe even do something with Line of Fire or Confidential Mission! As much fun as the Gunblade/LA Machine Guns compilation was, they were pretty obscure games next to VC and HOTD.

Ghost Squad annoyed me though. The fact that you could lose at a level by not killing the boss in the time limit was frustrating, particularly on the otherwise awesome airplane mission - one shot headshot or game over, what a crock.

The Golgo 13 game is even more harsh, you get one shot and it's game over if you miss.

There are many games I'd like to see converted: Space Adventure Cobra, Rambo, Haunted Museum, and retro games like Evil Night, Beast Busters 1-2... and there was a recent game, made in 80'es buddy cop -fashion, where you could shoot gangsters, yakuza etc. and sometimes punch them and throw shurikens or something.. I just forgot the name :( But that game would be perfectly possible to replicate with the Move.

I finally got the Big 3 Gun Shooting thing, but only playing Dead Storm Pirates. The Move is a fun piece of plastic. I started playing KillZone 3 with Move, just for the heck of it and anyway I'm tired of these fps games, always the same... it is kind of challenging playing with the Move + navigation controller since the hands get tired quite quickly and not all features are mapped properly (reloading by tilting the gun is nice though), but the accuracy makes up for it. I'm trying to complete the game with Move ("veteran" difficulty level). If at some point it gets too hard, I can always revert back to pad. I also tried the demo of some horribly bland (the name was so generic that it's impossible to remember!) Move-fps and it was totally unplayable, rage-deleted it after getting killed dozens of times in a few seconds). In KillZone 3 the Move has been very nicely tuned, it's the best free-roaming light gun game yet (Time Crisis 4 fps mode was nice too), but easily the best move game yet = Dead Space Extraction.

Now I just need to wait for this to hit the stores...

Agreed. Looks fun. The venom gun is getting mixed reviews. I have a move controller and I have a nav controller as well. Should I indulge in this game?

I find it really good without the Move controller, people are reporting calibration problems, with the cursor drifting to the end of the screen. It is good enough with the Guncon3, but I find the original TC4 port has more accuracy with the gun.

Has anyone played Killzone 3 with Move controls? Or Resistance? Curious whether this is worth it, as the price isn't too bad on Amazon at the moment. I haven't yet been moved to get the Move system, but I'm definitely interested.
