Woah, SNK is on the ball with this one. Usually when they announce a game on XBLA, it's at least a year before we see it.

If we are lucky and SNK continues their trend I think it is going to be sooner than expected, just like Kof2002 UM wich got leaked a few days before the official release date.

You're pretty much right, though, cause I don't think any of SNK's downloadable games in the last like 4 years have been on PS3, all 360.

I believe they put the awful PS1 KOF '99 port on PSN or something. That and the retail release of KOF XII are all the PS3 has gotten from SNK this gen.

Whereas they've put out 8 XBLA games, KOF XII and Samurai Shodown Sen on 360. All their XBLA ports thus far are great aside from the awful netplay (sole exclusion: Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, which actually works well online).

Also a 4gig 360 is just $200 now (or a hundred and change more for an import one, unless you know someone in Japan to ship you one), stop moaning and just get one FFS.

Unless the Mamoru-kun PS3 port sets Japan afire, I don't see PS3 getting much more support than it already has for shmups (reading from many previous threads about shmups on the PS3 here...that would be what....5 or something titles on PSN?)

Well, outside of shmups, the 360 and PS3 have more or less the same games. So if you care that much about shmups, you could always sell your PS3 and get a 360 instead.

Bloody hell, then suck it up and stop complaining whenever a new shooter gets announced for the 360. It's not like some unprecedented event when a new 360 shooter gets announced, it's assumed at this point. If you don't want to buy a 360, that's fine, but it hasn't been relevant to complain about these things for at least 2 years and things aren't gonna change anytime in the foreseeable future.

Let's see if we can avoid having yet another thread turn into this console war "Hurr M$ suckz id never buy thier shit even if it has the gamez I want" nonsense!

That is too bad, I was jazzed to play it sooner rather than later. I was a little suspicious that other big sites weren't reporting on the 17th date as well, dunno where X360A got the bad info from.

IMO I think it wasn't bad info but rather a schedule change made by SNK since two great games are coming out this month, you know Guwange and DFK. So I bet that they'd rather chande the release date cause if people have to choose between this 3 games I am sure that Trouble Witches won't be the chosen.

Well, this is a nice surprise! Looks like a pretty fun blend of Deathsmiles and Guwange. I don't think the graphics look too amazing, but I do like the style. Man, the 360 keeps getting better and better. If they release this in February, I'm gonna die.
