The odds of me getting off are pretty good; I am going to check tomorrow. I'll bring Windjammers, most def. It's pretty much the best 2 player game, ever! I'm really excited to play a lot of these games I never have had the chance to before! I've never had the chance to play Batrider, as I can't get it to work in MAME because I am lazy

I think Twinkle Star Sprites would have to be one of the best games for something like this. One of the funnest multiplayer games. Period.

I'll be happy to get my head kicked in at Windjammers. I own it but have no clue what I'm doing. I should update my lists of PCB's and whatnot to see what to bring.

Of course, Stu! I will even stand by the cab with a shotgun! If anyone tries to change out a board they get an ass full of lead!

why should you have to do anything to get Batrider to work with MAME?

Okay...

Is the 20th of November still a green light for everybody?

I need some help for the high score challenges.

Poll:

PCB score challenge???

Ketsui
Viper Phase 1
Dangun Feveron Time Attack Mode

Console score challenge???

PC Engine games - assuming one of the Hudson shmups here...
XBOX 360 shmups
Genesis shmups

Give me some ideas! Thanks!

Ketsui score challenge would be my vote

As far as console....perhaps some 360 port exclusive? Something like Espgaluda II Black Label (or Arrange)? Or Ketsui X Mode

20th is still definitely a go for me. I can bring Game Paradise again for the scoring attack. I'll also have my own working copy of Ninja Emaki, so I can bring that. I can also bring a whole mess of MVS stuff, along with any PCB's anyone wants to play.

Because I am dumb. I've tried to get it to work with two different versions of MAME, but no luck. Yeah, I know...I need to stop being lazy and learn MAME better.

Looks like I'll be able to make it. Probably about a 90% chance. I'm pretty pumped!

I just bought Cotton on the Super Famicom if anyone wants to play that... :|

Cool, looks like we got 2, possibly 3 coming up from Springfield (another friend of mine expressed interest in coming along).

Soooo is this in place of the possible Nov. meet drboom mentioned? Or is there something in the works still, I just can't swing making that big of a trip while schools going on. Well it's not like I could take time off for anything now, but I'd like too.

I just thought of this, but I have one of those viletim rgb to Jamma setups, with RGB cables for PS1/2, Saturn, Genesis, PC Engine, Dreamcast. Only problem is my PC Engine CD Rom is dead, but the PC Engine itself works fine. Any interest in me bringing this?

Drauch has a Duo-R we can bring up if you have any CD-ROM games you want to bring. Either way, I'd be down for that. I have one of those adapters myself, they're fantastic.

I've got one of the briefcase style setups and the RGB is modded straight into the system, so that won't fly. I doubt I'll get off my ass in the meantime and finally hunt down a working CD unit. I have Drac X, Kaze Kiri, and some other jazz. Not too sure to be honest with ya.

Not in place of, but I won't be doing a meet until the beginning of next year. Hopefully February. Nov and Dec won't wok unfortunately.

I'd say Ketsui for PCB and Deathsmiles for X360 - possibly a PCE game - someone have Nexzr? Always wanted to try that.

Sounds good to me, I'll barely be able to sleep for Nov. and Dec. because of school, let alone run out to Chicago to play games. Hopefully the weather cooperates for everyone when that rolls around. If things work out I'll have my own j360 to add to the mix for that meet.

I believe it goes something like this:

stuminator
drunkninja
caldwert
matskat
drboom-shakalaka
Andi
drauch??
maybe some people from my work

I am looking to buy a game, so yes, buying, selling, trading is encouraged. Just bring what you think will sell/what is hot at the moment and we can go from there.

I don't think we are getting any negatives on Ketsui being the pcb challenge??? Most have played it via the 360 by now, right?

I am anxiously awaiting what Guwange will be like for XBLA. I will purchase the game and if we have english numerals for the score, I am going to demand that Guwange be the console score challenge. We can still throw in a PCEngine shmup or Game Paradise for a time attack! :D

I don't think we can go without a second vert cab. The Aero Table is cool, but the perspective can be daunting for first time users.

Do you have capable transport, Caldwert? If not I would seriously consider showing up at someones crib with my van, if you don't mind helping with the gas. I would come over Friday afternoon as long as it is within a 3 hour radius.

I will have to see how far Bollivar is from me. You have an Astro cab, drunkninja?

I have capable transport for one cabinet. 2 would require a rental van. I'm not within the 3 hour radius unfortunately otherwise we could have both my Astro's.

Nah, I still consider STL under 3 hours. We might be able to work something out. Two Astros would be ideal. Then the E2 and A-table will be icing on the cake.

I'll give you a call soon.
