McRib is back for one month only!

All McD locations starting on Nov 2 will have the McRib for one month only (this is for US I believe). Many locations are already selling it (I had one for lunch, it was unhealthy great). If you really don't give a shit what you eat you better want to visit McD this month more often!

I was at a swanky country club not long ago, and the buffet served a formed pork rib shaped meat product for some reason. It was so funny to overhear rich people asking how the chef got the bones out. Silly millionaires, never had a McRib.

Take #2: I remember these things from elementary to junior high cafeteria, and I might try one of the McD's variants just to see what it's like, but I feel I remember exactly and won't miss them if they're the same. Going into this with open eyes, and, erm, mouth.

Holy crap, Michigan is hog heaven for these molded meats. TONS of them around Detroit...Only a sliver of the east coast looks to have a denser sampling of locations, and for some reason there's a ton of spottings around Minnesota. Somebody oughta call that one into the Prairie Home Companion. Haha, I see ones in Marshall, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek, West Columbia. For some reason Jackson has three McD's in a row...kind of like three little meaty ribs against the backbone of I-94 heading to Ann Arbor...eh, heh

The big one right now is the Double Down at KFC right now....two pieces of breaded chicken instead of a bun on the chicken sandwich and 200% of your daily salt intake.....they actually made a press release recommending that people NOT eat them regularly....so they're selling like mad of course. *sigh*

I actually went to McDonalds for lunch last week and brought back McRibs for myself and 5 coworkers. Would definitely eat again.

I can see why it's not something on the regular menu though. If it weren't rare, people would just get tired of them.

I've never heard of the McBrat before but I'm compelled to order the bratwurst burger everytime I go to my local brewpub. It's a bratwurst patty on a pretzel roll with coarse mustard and it is amazing.

I don't understand why they do regional items like this. Are there really that many New Englanders who pass over locally made lobster rolls in favor of McDonalds? I can't imagine it being a very profitable venture for them.
