Is there a scene in "Teeth" where a gynaecologist gets his finger bitten and screams (exact quote) "The myth of vagina dentata is real!" ? Someone described a scene like that, I've always thought it a hilarious bit of writing. I'm sure he just goes "Aiee!" or something else less considered, though.

more like 4 fingers, and bitten is a huge understatement. there was a bit of a struggle in that scene...you're better off watching it then having me describe it. he does say that quote though.

Hmm... after watching that, the "spider-chick" from Wicked City(the anime) came to mind.

Yep, Mega Force came out on the big screen back in 1982. I recall watching it on the big screen back in the day. Even the famous U.S. based Mattel with it's Hot Wheels toyline-up jumped on the Mega Force movie promotional deal and made a few exclusive 1/64th scale Hot Wheel die-cast metal vehicles as a movie tie-in...some of the ol' MF Hot Wheels vehicles are still currently in production today with various repaint jobs to freshen them up -- the hence the 1982 copyright date if you look on the metal underside baseplate.

Let's not forget that there were some cool 1980s films originally released in 3-D utlizing the old school gray-colored Poloroid 3-D glasses to view them properly:

Metal Storm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn 3-D

Jaws 3-D (circa 1983)

Amityville 3-D

Parasite 3-D (the alien creature special EFX shown in Parasite was done by none other than the famous EFX wizard Stan Winston himself.)

Space Hunter in the Forbidden Zone 3-D

Friday the 13th 3-D

Treasure of the Four Crowns 3-D

The Man Who Wasn't There 3-D (with actor Steven Guttenberg...came out about the same time that Jaws 3-D was playing on the big screen.)

There's also the 1985 released "Star Chaser: The Legend of Orion 3-D" animated theaterical movie to consider as well.

It'd sure be cool if all the above films were properly re-released for 3D Blu-Ray format.

Is that the Parasite with Demi Moore? I used to have a budget DVD of that movie but I have never seen a 3D version

Space Hunter is a pretty cool post-apocalyptic film with Molly Ringwald. I have never seent he 3D version of that either but I had the regular version on VHS tape.

+1 for Street Trash, I had an old VHS copy of this. I like the melty bit on the fire escape. Yeah, find an old box of booze in a vent and put it out for sale, that's a great ideal.. Great squatter/splatterpunk movie.

For Octopod,

Yep, it's the same flick with Demi Moore's inital big screen debut. I see at Target right now that they sell the anaglyph "red & cyan" endowed 3-D version of Friday the 13th Part 3 on standard DVD format. Comes with two pairs of the ol' school 3-D glasses.

Night of the Living Dead has been available for a few years in pretty high quality on Archive.org, that's how I saw it first. Unfortunately Archive is always at the end of its bandwidth, so it's usually slow.

tried to watch surf nazis must die. made it 30min in and had to stop. it was just boring and bad IMO. i managed to sit through a lot of bad movies but this one wasn't even enjoyable. the only other movie i couldn't sit through was Blackenstein. i had to fast forward when we was just walking around in the lab for 20 fucking minutes. i did manage to sit through Dead Clowns...what a mistake that was

watched mortal kombat for the first time in probably more than a decade. wow! this movie is way better than all of the shitty games. theres a lot of stuff that was just terribly funny bad. if only they got jean claude van dam to play jonny cage...

i don't know which was funnier the street fighter movie or this. and then there is the chun-li movie  i'll leave that one alone

next up is going to be the KOF movie, which from the looks of things, is even worse!

Starcrash - it has everything:

* Christopher Plummer in a cape
* David Hasselhoff fighting stop-motion robots with a light saber
* Amazonians with formation space fighters.
* Huge missiles that crash through open windows in a space station.
* The missiles contain poorly dressed men with laser rifles, instead of exploding.
* The space station looks like an opening and closing fist
* An amiable redneck robot

And the immortal line (0:33):

Just in case one dose of "Transmorphers" wasn't enough awesome for you:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmorphers:_Fall_of_Man

I actually saw this for sale on Blu-Ray at a local Movie Gallery that was closing down for $5, almost considered picking it up for kicks.

Robot Jox can be somehow related to Starcrash (you decide how, anyway)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07F7DGcVcsc

One funny thing other than the movie itself is that the Italian vhs package summarizes the plot... but it doesn't match it at all. Yeah I know it's the usual thing for some of the Ninja stuff but this one was special.

Also Warriors of the Lost World is awesome. Watch here:

Apologies if any of the above has already been posted.

mega piranha beat piranha 3d in the stupidly bad factor so hard! and piranha 3d was trying to be bad, that's saying something. in mega piranha, they try to drown the damn things...lol wut! and this one guy kicks the shit out of them at one point, literally! like charlie fucking murphy!!! the ending is by far the stupidest ending ever. my jaw dropped and i could say nothing. i mean, when they said they were going to drown them my jaw dropped, but at least i could still manage a few words. the only other time i was without words in awe at something was the DDPDOJBL DVD run, sick shit.

and btw piranhas in this movie EXPLODE on impact!!!! not to mention they eat war ships and helicopters

I'm going to make a compilation of stupid parts of this movie and upload that jazz to youtube when i get enough free time
