So I was messing around in the video settings in ESPGALUDA II and It pretty much just came to me, I set it up for TATE but then I got also got a wallpaper with it so I had to zoom in to get full screen.
Is this really true 4:3 ratio now or is there some other "proper way" to configure it.
I am using a 19 4:3 CRT monitor through VGA.
Oh by the way I am running it through 640x480.
4:3 Ratio Xbox 360
Re: 4:3 Ratio Xbox 360
Set your 360 to 640x and rotate the game's settings to Dot by Dot. It should fill out the screen completely, if your screen is adjusted properly.

Fairly certain the DbD setting only exists in Mushihimesama Futari. Cave's own 360 ports go by percentages. Just adjust them until you can't see anything but the game screen.

I think you want to scale to a multiple of the game's original resolution, then adjust your monitor.StarCreator wrote:Fairly certain the DbD setting only exists in Mushihimesama Futari. Cave's own 360 ports go by percentages. Just adjust them until you can't see anything but the game screen.

Re: 4:3 Ratio Xbox 360
Ah, oops, missed the part where he mentioned he was on a CRT monitor. Yeah, I leave it at 100% and use the monitor's controls to fill the screen.
I've only experimented with Deathsmiles, but I don't think the border art should be visible if you're at a 4:3 output resolution though...

I am not getting any black borders I just have the game's screen and then the wallpaper, just like you would have in YOKO but with the game screen being turned vertically obviously.
edit: As far as I can understand I am supposed to adjust in the monitor settings so that I only see the game itself then zoom in from there?
did I get it correct?

if you adjust the monitor so you only see the game itself (no wallpaper) why would you need to zoom more?Zeron wrote: edit: As far as I can understand I am supposed to adjust in the monitor settings so that I only see the game itself then zoom in from there?

just make sure the game is set to 100% in the game's visual settings.

Uhh yeah silly me I have to say I prefer the old system of selecting screen modes though. 4;3,TATE and you are readyf you adjust the monitor so you only see the game itself (no wallpaper) why would you need to zoom more?
just make sure the game is set to 100% in the game's visual settings.

I have the same problem with Deathsmiles and Raiden Fighters aces.Zeron wrote:So I was messing around in the video settings in ESPGALUDA II and It pretty much just came to me, I set it up for TATE but then I got also got a wallpaper with it so I had to zoom in to get full screen.

When I connect the 360 to my 15.75khz monitor through RGB, when the image is scaled 100% I always get the wallpaper on the edges because the image does not fill up the entire screen on both games.
I doubt it's my monitor settings because all my consoles display fine, including arcade PCBs.
Not a big deal, I can zoom the image in to fill up the screen, I just always found it odd.
Re: 4:3 Ratio Xbox 360
You definitely want 150% for the zoom setting for 640x480 in Espgaluda II (Deathsmiles too I think). Not sure about Raiden fighters aces.
