Give me a 20 second lesson on Ketsui Death Label

Just wondering what the DS Ketsui game is like... isn't it just a boss attack mode or some such?

Is it any good?

What's the going rate for the game?

It's a boss attack game. I think it's pretty fun, with unlockables and such.

I played it through a 3 or 4 hour flight once and my hands hurt for days. The DS Lite is just too small.

It's fun but not worth the money to me. I'd rather play it on a emulator (don't know if it works or not), the diagonals on my ds dpad suck and the screen is to small.

Ketsui (arcade) is not emulated beyond the title/high score screens. I guess you could try Death Label on a DS emulator though.

I own the J360 version and I have to say, it's one of my favorites. Not sure I'd ever play Death Label over it.

I still play both. Death Label is pretty cool for all the differing boss patterns, plus it gives me a fix when I have downtime at work

I thought the idea of the game was silly, but then after owning the 360 version, I have decided that a Death Label version wouldn't be half-bad, given how fun the boss fights are!

But I don't think I could do that on the DS.

Ketsui Death label is fantastic. Great fun Great presentation and tons of replay value. And the fact its on a handheld is its biggest plus! Makes it so easy to pick up and play. My advice...Buy it..Buy it now!! You wont regret it.

I'ts only a boss rush but it's pretty diffucult to play for score.

The game was nice filler when it came out, but it was really only that: filler, until Ketsui for 360 came along.

It's $90 USD now? Jesus. That's above the price of the Limited Edition Ketsui for 360.

The best way to properly play Ketsui Death Label is to play it on an NDS XL handheld as it will be easier on the eyes & not to mention much easier to whip around the insane Ketsui danmaku patterns. Playing KDL on the smaller NDS Lite isn't recommended due to it's smaller LCD screen setup but is still manageable nevertheless.

If Nintendo were to make a NDS adapter to play on the Wii platform (similar to the GCN Gameboy Adapter), it'd sure be cool to play KDL with a proper arcade joystick setup indeed (rather than having to resort to playing it with a NDS controller setup).
