Raiden Fighters JET - Single Board PCB (Korean) Volume?

Post by TastySoil »

Hey guys, anyone have a manual for the single board PCB of Raiden Fighters JET? I just got one and the volume is really quiet -- I'm wondering if there is a pot on the board I can turn it up with. I don't want to just go messing with it though...
Thanks for the help!

If your boards the same as this one it's the orange pot top right to control the volume.

There exists a Chinese version of the single layer PCB of Raiden Fighters Jet 2000 with the single volume pot trim as well. Still has the same crappy short loopy BGM tunes that plague all the other single layer RFJ PCBs. Of course, getting a seperate SP1 mobo & SP1 RFJ cart is the way to go with it's better BGM output and not to mention stereo output from the get-go (perfect if you've got a stereo-equipped candy cab setup).

Thanks for the info PC Engine Fan! I have read differing information on these single layer boards-- some people have written that the audio sounds the same between the two. I'll say that I do notice the audio on this board isn't that great. Sounds like a really low bit rate mp3 or something. I haven't played the other version though so can't compare

Yeah, I think there's a misconception that all single layer PCBs have inferior audio. I have a single layer US PCB with the Yahama sound chip. Sounds just like the 360 RFA version's audio.

I just got a RFJ 2000 PCB, I can't find anything to make adjustments on the board besides a volume pot. Is there a way to screen flip?
