SHMUP remix Album

I've mentioned this before in a different thread, but I make music under the alias Raigon.
For awhile now, I've been thinking about making an album of nothing but remixes of songs from varies shmups. Doing Touhou remixes would be no problem for me (I made like, an infinity of those at scout camp.), but I want some opinions as to what other songs from other shmups I should do? I plan on having 12 songs for the album.

Looking at your join date, you're too new around here to know, but we already had a similar project going on a while ago, which resulted in an awesome shmups cover album featuring a huge variety of styles.

Oh, cool. I love the album art. Though, I was actually trying to do an actual album, and not something just for this forums, but it's still cool. I'd love to submit a song to the album, but it seems to have reched an ending point... I got a kick ass touhou remix I would've submitted.
