27/5776/2040 with a Break Rate of 1587 coming in to Stage 3. (Dunno if that's good, it was for me at the time.)

This is a reverse example. Dodonpachi Stage 6, death with full bombs in stock before the bee teleported in. I proceeded to waste all my resources before the two "Stage 2 tanks". I perfect them, and half of the final boss. Then I clip on the blue spread pattern and game over. To be fair, that one's pretty hard, so...

I've been getting more consistent at the fireball safespot, but they either kill me in ways I didn't expect or the ship moves down sand crushes me (man, that was a humiliating way to Game Over).

Well, well. Gradius V for me is the biggest bitch. Cuz 99% of the time I make it all the way to the middle of the fourth level without dying. I mean it is almost boring because of how easy it is, and the levels are quite long (I use the last weapon choice, btw, the one with the rotating options). But every time I get to the part of level 4 with the regenerating walls, I lose at least one life, if not two. It's so cheap, it's disgusting. At this point I can still get past the 4th boss and make it through to Level 5 boss. But those lost lives would really help when it comes to that level 5 boss! It's this reason alone that I stopped playing Gradius V, and only rarely try to take a run.

I'm about to throw my TV out the window (it's okay, I have extras) after playing ESPGaluda for a few hours straight. I can no-miss all sections of the game, but can't seem to put it all together in one run, really pathetic, I've been playing for a year now... I got to the last boss with plenty of life and though "I can do it this time", then I get hit twice on his first form where I have no-missed dozens of times LOL. Ugh, it's pissing me off a lot because everyone says "it's Caves easiest vert", but it took me ages to figure out that last pattern and now that I have it down well enough I am making stupid mistakes at total random parts of the game.

Once I get it it will be my 5th Cave game that I've 1-Alled, not including whacky arrange modes of course.

^Damn that really sucks.

Well after that day of playing ESPgaluda for hours on end, I eventually had to stop and go to work for a couple hours. When I got home I made a quick meal and decided to give it one last shot...

Finally got the 1CC :D

That Guwange one... sucks to be you, man.

I finally managed to full-chain Stage 2 of DDP. Of course, I proceeded to freak out at the boss's last pattern (which I've dodged perfectly about the past 50 times in a row) and die. After that I couldn't seem to do well, and always bombed about a frame after I died.

Note to self: I ain't playin' Toohoo.

Full chain level 2 eh? I love DDP, but I only try to chain the first level. After that it's just for survival. I can't do the chaining no matter how hard I try. Maybe if I watched someone else do it... Maybe..

My high score is like 21 million, but on that run I made it to the LV 5 boss. So I may be able to 1CC it some day, but I won't ever be putting up a decent score

For some reason, when I play Raiden Fighters I tend to be better about Quick Shotting the horde of destructible bullet-firing bombers when I'm not trying to.

In sort of the same vein, most of my best highscores were played at minimum resolution. I just play better that way for some reason.

Good thing is, once you 1CC a loop in Gaiden you can skip it on a new game.

Gaiden's announcer is an asshole on the last few stages. Same guy played Richter Belmont and Harry Mason... with about .001 of the awesome.

"Crush all of them." Yes sir!

"Radio. Huh. What's bluh bluh bluh..." If only they'd fired the entire SH1 voice staff.

You two poor boys need to get out of here and forget about it.

I was actually doing decently in Ketsui earlier and then I managed to get killed twice in the same minute after the reverse scrolling bit. And one of the deaths was because I let someone ram me. I wanted to get in the top 100 on the Xbox leaderboards. ;_;

First play of DDP in a week, no-miss up to the last 5 seconds of the Stage 4 boss. Great performance considering my history at this game. Died with full bombs about 30 seconds into Stage 5. Did exemplary on the rest of Stage 5. Died 5 seconds into Stage 6 with full bombs. You can see where this is going.

I'm still messing up, but I'm doing it later on. That's good, right? Right? :?

Since the last time I saw you at PG, and asking about the stage 3, and looks like you got the 1cc already with A-L, you're doing pretty damn good. I first started the game since forever ago but never really improved chaining or getting to the 2nd loop loop, essentially where I've been for a year now from never practicing to improve :?

Wow, you got the 1CC? Congratulations! Make sure to show off next time you're at the arcade! I've been trying to practice chaining to get ready for the DFK tournament, but even thinking of playing for score past stage 2 just makes me want to cry

All my Original Futari runs have a counter-ruining gap in the middle called stage 3.

The stage 4 bosses are beaten by tapping left. The stage 5 mid-boss doesn't appear to have any attacks. BUT STAGE 3. Some kind of beetle with an anus for a face making me bomb like it's a Let's Play.

Oh shit, now I have to keep practicing till I'm consistent enough to 1cc in front of an audience. :|

Managed to perfect Stage 3 of Progear, which has been a real block to me, and I did some great scoring along the way. I turned away from the screen to stretch just as the Stage 3 boss appeared. I couldn't regain control in time to avoid a stupid death. I haven't been able to do that well since.

Espgaluda II on the iPad, iPhone mode, normal difficulty, expert controls. On my way to a new hi-score, if I manage to finish the game.

Died, boss had a sliver of life left.

Yuch.
