Wolfgames throws in the towel

Post by louisg »

Wolfgames is going out of business and is having a massive clearance sale. For those who don't know, Wolfgames is an awesome internet store which carries mostly imports, including a ton of PC Engine games (and other less-common systems)-- and they stock a lot of shmups. The prices were always reasonable, as opposed to eBay which often was much more expensive. Shipping was fast and reliable. In addition, the owner would almost always throw in a little gift: once it was even a Space Harrier loose HuCard =) The store was a large part of the reason I got into videogame imports.

Anyway, I will miss that store.

Well that's depressing :(
There is a ton of stuff there I want ... but I swore off collecting and I'm poor right now so I'm going to have to pass. Abadox, Alisia Dragoon, Paranoia, Shin Shinobi Den ... :(
Here's the link for anyone interested:

That's too bad. I remember when the owner used to work at a game store in my area, around 18 years ago. He got most of his starting stock of PC Engine stuff from that store, if I remember correctly. Definitely a cool guy.

Games To Go in Richfield? Me and my best friend were there all the time. I make it a point to try and see Paul at hi-score whenever I can.

I loved GTG.

Customs fees of course may still apply, and do not ask for customs values to be falsified; doing so will cancel your order.
Bye bye Wolfgames! Image
