Nice - how much did that set you back? I'd quite like one of those.

Looks unusual. Looks a bit like a MVS cart with a jamma pinout.

I actually picked it up in a trade, so I can't comment on specific value.

There was one up on YJ not long ago for around 20K, but I think it was purchased. Mine is the US version, which in this case I prefer since there is some dialogue.

The shell houses a two-layer PCB, one containing most of the MLC-generic hardware (graphics, sound, etc), and the other containing the CPU and game ROMs. The whole unit is larger than an MVS cart, and like an MVS cart, it is easy to store and handle.

*and yes, it's on carpet. completely housed in plastic FTW!

Silly question- but how does it compare to the Saturn port? I had no clue there was a jamma version o.o

Been slowing down compared to how I used to be with buying PCB's, but here's some recent (past 2-3 months) arrivals:

Aerofighters 3
Spinal Breakers
Two Crude
Black Tiger
Gamshara
Mille Miglia 2
Legend of Makai
Violent Storm

Gotta say after a short play, I'm in love with Gamshara. Very fun. Also, Legend of Makai is pretty good as well, much better than I was even expecting. Violent Storm is alright as well. Spinal Breakers I mainly bought since its the only time I've ever seen it, and its quite different. Legend of Makai is only the 2nd or 3rd time I'd seen the board for sale as well. Black Tiger I had sold in a moment of weakness during college and convinced myself the XBox port was ok until I bothered to play the XBox port on my cab via the Viletim device.

Cool score on the Gunforce II, CIT. Isn't it an Irem M-92 powered PCB setup?

Couldn't agree more. I suck at item collecting, but was able to recently complete the artset collection.

Oh, and this just came in today, thanks to STV!

[edit] I just noticed this Volfied says 1992, when all the mame roms/revisions say 1989...WTF? [/edit]

Nice! I love the Qix series! For those who don't want to throw down for a Volfied PCB, just pick up Qix Neo for PS1 (has Volfied) :D

Nice artset for Dimahoo, and SWEET VOLFIED!! I've been itching to play that on a cab since I saw it at Tom's.

Your a newbie with a $1500 purchase item. Doesn't that strike you as strange?

Perhaps you passed your driving test in a Ferrari Enzo, or opened your bank account with a half mil check?

I recall getting my feet wet delving into the arcade PCB world with a cheap-ass USA region Gunbird PCB set minus the obligatory Psikyo factor box but otherwise complete -- that was many moons ago. Cool to see you start your arcade PCB hobby off with a bang, Vyxx. A complete Ketsui PCB set, hot damn!

Hate to see electrostatic discharge wipe out such a super expensive Ketsui PCB though. Please do keep that in mind. I've had a 100% working Taito G-Net mobo that was zapped by a nasty ESD incident and had to reflash it to get it back to 100% working condition, otherwise it'd utterly useless.
