Dammit. I always dreaded having to come and see the news of a member's passing away. And though I knew it would happen, I wasn't expecting it to be him.

Thanks for your posts and excellent humor, buddy. Wait for us before starting the second loop, okay? I'll bring some tacos then. I am sure we will all understand. The forum member ever.

I was with Uber and him just last night he drove me home and met my mother for the first time. I still have no idea how he passed. Kinn was the nicest human being I ever met, I miss him dearly.
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.

This kind of news is always bad to hear but for it to be Robotron who was such a character here makes it doubly so.

My thoughts go out his family and friends in RL

My jaw hit the floor when I saw this thread and opened it. He was a nice guy, loved shmupping, loved gaming, loved life. His was ended way too soon.

RIP Robotron, I'll miss the engrishy introductions that literally had me looking sideways to try and make out to understand. :(

I am distressed

The post at the top of this page http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... 6&start=90 had me thinking at the time...?
My reply further down asked about his condition, but he did not say more on it.
His post was a brief summary of the nice things he had in his life and many of which he had lost. I hope my reply to him was of some positive consolation;
ROBOTRON - Life is a rollercoaster. Up is not always the direction.
I still maintain that it was impressive to have all the things you listed .

btw. What is RSG? (if you're not referring to Radiant Silvergun that is?)
A condition?
An interesting and atypical guy for the area he came from. It always intrigued me greatly when he listed one of his favourite TV shows as the tremendously English 70s show 'Are you being Served?'.

Always a nice guy too.

A Great Loss.

Aw man, this sucks so much! He was one of my most favorite posters as well, but I suppose knowing him in person has been a much greater pleasure for the lucky few of you.

This year is a bad year for deaths. My ex wife died in June, my dad died last night at 02:15 GMT and poor Robotron's untimely death is just making me realize how lucky we are to experience another day, another shmup or another Xmas with family.

Its nice to see Robotron was appreciated so highly, it means good people appreciate good people. Glad to be in your company.
