The Eightbit Fighters Chronicles Vol.1

For those who want to see their beloved 8-bit shmupcrafts...in 3D!
This Japanese zine by Junji Okubo is for
the hardest of the hardcore videogame players, the SHMUP enthusiasts.

Each 2-page spread is dedicated to a ship from a different retro shooter. The original
pixel art is in the corner, and a beautiful
3D recreation is soaring above it

There's two, actually: Here and then from waaaay back from 2005 here. Sadly the original site doesn't appear to be functional any more.
