Re: Ask Cave a question
Why don't we just ask the interviewer a question:
Will you please not ask stupid fucking questions? I've been more disappointed w/ the interviewers than the interviewees lately.
EDIT: Actually... "tell us something about Guwange that was not mentioned in any other interview."
Suggestions:
1: What happened to the English version?
2: Is the Matsuri version (DL Content) any spin-off from one of the many early beta versions mentioned in the Curious Cat doujinshi interview.
3: Etc

Is the upcoming dodonpachi on 360 region free because no one else will pick it up by the looks of it. Do they want international sales of it.
Re: Ask Cave a question
Ketsui and DFK in Europe after Deathsmiles would be great
I hope our wishes become reals!

Even though people won't stop crying about Cave not making PS3 games, I suppose getting the bottom line from Cave would be a decent multipurpose question. Firstly, we could find out if Sony actually pissed them off, as rumour once suggested, and secondly every time a PS3 owner asks why there are no Cave games on their console you can link them the interview.

Ask Cave for a rocking soundtrack with bass. I love shooting games with big explosions and rocking soundtrack.

Re: Ask Cave a question
Ask them if they can make my J-360 region free with their next game. Also, a scanline patch that's universally applicable for all systems - EVAR.

Does my bum look big in this?
Re: Ask Cave a question
^yes it does.
Ask them why they were one of the first developers to sign up to use the Naomi hardware but then later decided to abandon the format and not port anything to the Dreamcast when the sales of shmups were higher than those on the PS2.
And why do people want games ported to the PS3 when the hardware manufacturer couldn't give two shits about the genre and anything thats 2D? Making it a totally unviable platform (see the pathetic PSN store).

Just say "Ketsui" over and over again until the interviewer refuses to communicate any longer.neorichieb1971 wrote:Ask Cave if they can help speed up the Ketsui MAME process because its taking ages.
Re: Ask Cave a question
And he will respond with 'buy the port you fuck'
Re: Ask Cave a question
Ask them whether they feel lonely or if they like Milestone keeping them company.
Seriously, their view on contemporate shmup developers would be nice to read.

Re: Ask Cave a question
If I remember correctly, Mamedev was contacted by Cave and explicitly told not to emulate the newer Cave stuff or Cave would sue. Also, mamedev has a policy that will not allow them to emulate arcade games that are within 3 years of the end of a game's manufacturing run.neorichieb1971 wrote:Ask Cave if they can help speed up the Ketsui MAME process because its taking ages.
So in short, you won't be seeing it in MAME for a long time.

How do I make Reco fall in love with me?
Or on a serious note, will there be any more games like Mushihime-tama?

Re: Ask Cave a question
I'd like to know if Cave plans to do disc-based/compilation releases for their older material, or if they plan on keeping those download-only.
Also, maybe not a truly "appropriate" question, but I would finally like some confirmation as to whether the Platinum version of Futari has any of the DLC on the disc.

When will Ibara Kuro be ported to the Xbox 360???
What about a Cave Classic's Compilation Disc, just like PS and MM but with all their oldest stuff (Esprade, Donpachi, etc)
