I live in Southwest Milwaukee where Latin Kings are known to hang out....I'm not even sure what to make of this...nobody turns down their music in our neighborhood and lots of late night hangers-out too...

Either he's nuts, or this town really has gone to seed or both...I'm not really sure.
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

I`d say it`s because everytime the guy reports something it makes extra work for them. After all the complaining about the (now defunct) adult section of craigslist, I get the impression that police would have illegal activities remain out of sight rather than in the open where they need to take action against them (or be seen NOT taking action against them). Besides, what is illegal about wandering the streets with a mask on? as long as he isn`t threatening/assaulting anyone

He's not doing anything illegal, all the guy is doing is walking around and reporting suspicious activity to the police. I feel like this thing is more common than people actually think, and this fellow isn't anywhere near as bad as some of the other loonies. When I went to college back in the midwest, they caught a guy who had put up ropes between buildings and was climbing between them. He said he was batman. They found he was building a batmobile at his house. Yeah.

My mistake - the mention in the first linked story of him carrying pepper spray made me think he was actually using it. If he isn't, then he's just a dick. You can do that shit without having to dress up like an imbecile, but I guess that doesn't have the added appeal of potential (short-lived) fame.

Man, calling the cops doesn't make you a super hero. You gotta kick some ass! All these "super heroes" are a bunch of pussies.
Until we have something like The Punisher, I doubt we'll have a super hero. Anyone who actually tries to fight crime unarmed is going to get beat up or killed.
I love this crap! I've been paying attention to this for a couple of years now, when I have some time I'll dig up a few links to post. I really wish there was a super hero in my city, just so I could mask up and fight the idiot. Even if I lost, I can become a bonafide card carrying super villain!! Any punk ass heroes out there, I'm waiting for you in Rochester, NY!
