2. Torus Trooper - Sort of like Tempest, but with much better look.

Have you played Tsunami 2010 Yet? It's the best... uhh... port/version/clone of Tempest that I've played. A-Grade stuff.

I don't think so, "Torus Trooper" is a straightforward alliterating name about fighting inside a torus. And more importantly, I don't see any reference to Star Soldier in the game itself.

The name Torus Trooper alliterates (thanks for reminding me of that word) just as the name Star Soldier does and "trooper" is a synonym for "soldier". Also the game is a timed score attack, a sub-genre associated with the Star Soldier series, so I do think so.

Just picked up Blast Works so looking forward to playing some of these games again.

1) rRootage - Spent many many hours tapping away on this. Really relaxing.
