XBOX360 Region Patch Plugin.. anyone tried this or similar?

Have not been following the 360 hacks news for a while. Is this finally the answer or has this been around for a while?

Can anyone confirm that this might be a path to more Cave greatness?

From what I understand after googling around, this requires a custom dashboard which requires modified firmware, which requires a modded 360.

Or something like that.

would be useless IMO because you couldn't connect to live for patches or to upload scores.

honestly it's less trouble, and safer (a banned account isnt fun) to buy a j360.

I assume this requires the JTAG to run so its nothing special but if it does not require jtag, then its actually pretty good news in the sense that you can pick up a fat banned 360 for like 40 euros then play alot of games.

Patches is not a issue alot of people in this country have flashed 360s and they just download the patch the send it over to the 360 manually with transfer cables. Sucks loosing the ability to upload your score but its still a pretty good deal.

God, I miss easy region unlocking like taking pliers to some plastic knobs or ripping open a copy of Gyromite. Really wanting a J360 but it'll most likely never happen. Owning 21 consoles already can be fun, but I really hate spending that much and owning double of the console. Eh, maybe someday, I guess.

It requires JTAG, Freeboot and Dashlaunch.
...which is retarded, because recent JTAG dashboards are region free anyways.
