Which song is this?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find out which game is this intro music from.

I'm not sure whether it is from a shmup. I remember it from a jurassic game show I used to tape back in the early 90's (recording was lost). The only thing I can remember is that the intro had some sci-fi elements, such as being set in space, with spaceship and/or mecha, some planet, i can't tell for sure.

It could be a Genesis (Mega Drive) game, or from any platform with similar capabilities.

My first guess was Turrican or a similar platform shooting Contra-like robot game, but I was wrong. That was probably because Turrican was featured in the same show. It could be a shmup considering the space setting, but the intro music is all I can count on now. I'd appreciate any help from the great retro gamers out there.

Sorry guys, the file is real and I'm real too. It is a plain .MID file.

If anyone knows a better place to upload it, please let me know and I'll be glad to move that simple tune there. I just couldn't find any other place that was free of very long counters.

Download link is good, but I don't know the theme. Maybe Axelay or something?

That's not it, but thanks. The vintage must be correct though (based on other games that aired in that show, from around '91-92), but I recall the intro graphics being lamer than Axelay or SNES games in general.
