Minor improvement but I'm happy with at least it finally edged up.

Had some horrible luck on the forest and cemetery lost points there and then screwed up on the fourth stage tons.

Rosa won my heart over today


I have been playing with Follett for so long I forgot what made Rosa so good, she kills crap really fast. Sure her option isn't as good as Follett's, but with a bit of practice you get around it. I pretty much only used the lock shot with Rosa when I was going against bosses. In those situations you always have enough time to turn Rosa backwards and move the option into place.

I can't do the recharge trick for crap. I got it to work twice on the forest stage, but none of those runs ended up being very good overall.

Well I've got threads for various games that no one plays anymore like Sonic Wings, Exzisus, Ordyne, Last Duel etc. As well as Rabio Lepus, which according to your sig you're after the PCB of. When you get it you can post a score for that

Just 1cc my first cave shmup, I been getting pretty high scores lately but just couldnt hold on at the end. Tonight finally and so satisfyingly I did it! It wasnt my highest score but definitely my most proud of. Here is my 1cc and my high score:

Been having some fun working on this score, but seem to be having some problems getting it a little higher and clearing either both ex stages or the game in one go. Gonna take a little break from it for now, so here is my current score.

Having a little problem with the boss in the Ice Palace, actually a little difficult! And, it's not included in this score, but it doesn't seem like I'm getting that many points when I play the Gorge, makes me just want to skip it and try for the clear for now..

I bring the saddest news that the arcade I frequent had the last Deathsmiles machine in the country, and today they replaced it with some King of Fighters' series. I guess that's the end of Deathsmiles for me after almost three years on it. Looks like my worst nightmare came through.

Shmups aren't popular in Singapore, Deathsmiles being one of the least known ones here. People here favour racing and fighting. My favourite genre, which is actually shooting and not shmup (the Deathsmiles poster caught my eye on that day years ago), is not well received too.
