No, it is not a bit much. It might just be one of the awesomest commercials I have ever seen!
-Comedy
-Action
-Awesome games (in one pack)
-Even at the end you can see the box of the pack with a GUN!
-Lot´s of time/money/creativity went into making this commercial.

That's the first release to spark any interest in the PS Move for me. Hopefully this will lead to a compilation of Time Crisis 1-3 for the Wii. Since they have come so very far, we should be their guests, and let them entertain us.

That's rad! I was thinking of picking up a GunCon for my PS2 and Time Crisis, but then thinking it wouldn't be worth it since I'm not sure I'll have another CRT. I second the "hopefully this comes out for Wii", mostly because I've got no PS3. Regardless, it's good to know that I'll be able to still play Time Crisis with newer TVs.

I'm soooo looking forward to Deadwater Pirates on the collection. I f***ing dislike the Wii, so I hope this will eventually bring a truckload of lightgun games to the PS3. I also don't mind PSN downloads. HotD4 for $15 ? Will buy. Ninja Assault HD Remake for $15 ? Will buy!

I guess we won't need the additional (optional) "move navigation" controller for Namco's Shooting package since it's not included in the big box.

In Europe Sony releases a lightgun collection called "The Shoot" along with Move on September 15th. Doesn't look anywhere near as good as Namco's grand prix package, but I feel the wave coming :0

Does anyone know if this supports the Guncon 3? Screw the Move, I have no desire to buy that but really want this collection.

Yes it supports guncon3. That said, this collection and standalone TC4 are the only games that support the gun. Unlike real lightguns, the guncon3 is infrared and requires that you put sensors around your TV and they aren't the prettiest around.

That's good to hear that it supports it. It's a hassle to set-up those sensors because for me they sometimes aren't positioned right and my calibration is screwed up.

Hopefully the Aliens & Terminator Salvation gun games make it over, preferably as a double pack. A proper port of Target Terror Gold wouldn't be bad either. Konami's Wii version does look like the arcade, but unfortunately the aiming is way off and it's got hideous lag.

A Time Crisis 1-3/Crisis Zone compilation would be a nice followup to Big 3:
- Time Crisis 1 arcade, with an added remake of the Kantaris mission from the PS1
- Time Crisis 2 (PS2 and arcade versions, including the Quick & Crash minigame)
- Time Crisis 3 (PS2 version with recoil added)
- Crisis Zone (arcade and the PS2 version - the PS2 version is kind of a "Black Label" edition, so it'd be good to have both.)
Since the screen flashing is no longer needed, have an option to turn it off (or leave it on for the purists).
This would be worth another $60 easily, especially if the Crisis Missions were kept in.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

A Time Crisis complete collection would be a dream come true, first we have to see how this TC4 is doing in this collection.

Since I was updating my scores in the old Razing Storm thread, I can now say that I have broke 7 million points on TC4 while no missing. (Yes 7 million on the PS3 version!)
Think the next time I'll play it now is when this collection comes out.

I just discovered this:
In response to the PS3's recent hacking attempts such as the PS Jailbreak, Sony has decided to disable third party devices, including third party controllers and USB devices, making the PS3 hack-free.

The firmware will disable a good number of third party devices, but not all. This firmware only disables devices that work via USB and if the product isn't licensed by Sony, so some devices are still in the clear.
Could this mean that the GCon 3 will not longer work after the update?

Guncon is from Namco.
If the guncon will be disabled by firmware Namco employees will storm over to Sony HQ and rebuilt a new firmware themselves that will enable guncon1, 2, 3 and negcon peripherals.
Rest assured!

The GunCon3 is licensed, so it will continue working for sure.

BUT, what about the Sega USB control pads ?? To lose them working would be a real pain!

http://www.gamingunion.net/news/namco-p ... -2520.html

Namco was considering a new wireless Guncon while they were working on Razing Storm, but they figured it'd be pointless once the Move came out. Also, Namco says there will be no Time Crisis games on Kinect since you need a controller. Kinect sounds like a new overpriced version of Sega's Activator, which didn't work worth Jack.

I wouldn't mind seeing Namco make their own Razing Storm machine gun replica shell for the Move, even if it would lack the heavy recoil found on the arcade gun. That would have to be the case, since a full arcade style gun would likely be more than $500 and require an AC adapter for the recoil solenoid.

Shit... this new firmware update could disable PS2 -> PS3 controller adapters. I may not be able to use that RedOctane reload pedal. :( At least there's Dance Dance Revolution coming on PS3, which will need a mat. Perhaps a DDR mat could do in a pinch.

Well, if you plug in the GCon 3 when the game isn't running you always get the message "unknown usb device detected. That's why I feared it might get disabled after the firmware update.

PS3 Move Battle Rifle
Now THIS would be more appropriate for Razing Storm. Looks like it has a sight on it. When playing the demo version of Razing Storm (contains the first few levels of Stage 2) with a naked Move controller, I didn't do quite so well as I have on the arcade one. Looks like this gun has a sight on it, so that should help. This reminds me a bit of Sega's Menacer with its breakaway design.

And how about a pistol for Time Crisis 4 that doesn't look like it's from Earthworm Jim? This one has a sight on it also.
Move Precision Shot 3

Should there be a home port of Terminator Salvation Arcade, maybe the makers can include the original T2 arcade game as a bonus. WB Games did have something to do with the 360/PS3 TS action game, so they could probably publish this. Hell, maybe even the original T2 could be thrown in as a bonus (didn't WB Games buy out a good number of Midway's arcade franchises?).

Ordered a move with some Amazon gift cards I had. Too bad there's no shooting pack in the USA, I would have much preferred that. No interest in the other junk.

I have the Move and it's indeed an awesome device.

I'm pumped for the gun game collection, I just hope the official sony gun encasing for the move isn't a POS.

Would also like to see a HOTD collection, would love some HOTD 2 in HD. Dreamcast version won't work in highdef, haven't been able to play it for years.

what do you mean?
gincon3 = for ps3!
Sega usb pads are for pc, but works right from the point where the ps3 has booted, you can control it on the desktop!
ps3 and ps1 games work with it
ps2 do not work with it since you need to press the PS button which the Sega usb pad does not have (still have not found a solution for this problem!)

I can't wait. I'm looking forward to getting an Arcade Mode run onto SuperPlay & Youtube, with 3.4M or better (at least a 670 Hit combo on the Raptor Alley bit in stage 2 and 700+ Hits on the Tuna Sashimi factory in stage 4.) I've also got to get the sniper scene perfect as well so I get the 50K bonus. If I fuck that part up, I'll be ready to rewind the tape and do it over. You lose 50K plus more than 20K of time bonus, thanks to extra enemies coming out (4000 pts. a second gone!).
Online co-op and DM sound awesome.

Smraedis- congrats on the Time Crisis 4 7M run.

Despite there not really being anything I wanted at launch, I bought a move anyways. The accuracy of the thing is actually pretty awesome. It also works really nicely when you're fairly far off-angle to the TV, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm guessing that light-gun games will work nicely with it (I can't imagine why they wouldn't?), so I might pick this up. That and I could really use something that I can try to justify my purchase with.
