In this day and age your average self-propelled gun appears to have that cannon thing mounted upon the chassis rather than in front of it.

Ohhhh, that's what it is! I've always wanted to play that game. For a second the cover reminded me of Cotton or Magical Chase or something.

Once again Elixir has helped me with a game cover I wasn't familiar with. Thank you and your Hudson bee!

No idea, but it was bundled with a couple of mecha-dinosaur shaped toys indeed.

Aye. At least three generations of Cave pants have passed:

and even a Metal hawk for another collector. hard stuff to get, very heavy . 'Winner' too, is an old goldie game.

and for me the cute Afterburner "cabaret" :)

thx, it's not mine and i dont envy it because i like to see that good things arrive to good people. my honor is just to have good friends who make sometimes nuts things. Nicolas le jardinier (nicolas the gardener) who had some impressive hi-score on ESPrade in the past, found this 3 years ago, but lacked time to backup it. there's some rust, but it looks very good :o (it's based on "Electrocoin" feeling, and designed for European market). let's hope it really works ! Nice haul. Nice to see these things saved from destruction...even though they could use a little cleaning.

Posts about music production and DJing which did not feature Awesome Stuff Just Bought have been moved to the new Music Production Thread, but feel free to post pictures of musical gear in this thread in the future. The discussion that arose from GaijinPunch's NI Maschine evolved into its own thing that didn't quite fit here or in The Creative Thread, either.

Well, it's my family's camera. I don't really care about it being clean and looking into it to perfectionize its settings.

No, the other one already had Seimitsus. I pulled out Sanwa from this one.

Stumbled across the last remaining retail retro shop in the UK (by my estimation!) in Croydon yesterday. They had very few things I wanted, but I did manage to dig out a mint copy of Valis IV for the PCE for £5. Made my day. :D

Just got some nice stuff from DealExtreme:

Three generic GC controllers (sku 22539). Not as good as the official stuff, maybe, but the price is just great, especially in bulk!

Image

A GC memory card, 2043 blocks (sku 4417) - nevermind the "Wii" labeling.

Image

And a video switch box (sku 25298). Four ports, two with S-Video. No more swapping cables all the time!
