He admittedly made more complaints than just "changing weapons with the touchscreen is difficult."

I was just using an example from the review...

Well, I'd agree with the reviewer: no button to switch weapons is a deal breaker. I mean, seriously, looking away from the screen everytime you switch weapons? What the heck were they thinking?

That's exactly what I was thinking; it's seriously 4 different things, people should be able to remember them.

I whent to Gamestop to see if they had it. It was in the computer system, but they went in the back and it wasn't there. They thought it might be coming in later today when the truck arrived. When I got back home, I checked the Gamestop site and saw the release date got changed to today. Maybe they shipped them out a day late or something.

I agree that this complaint about the sylus control is lame. It should just become second nature eventually where you need to tap: you shouldn't have to look once you've spent enough time with the game. Maybe I'm wrong, but I won't be finding out for sure today. This game is MIA, for today anyway.

I checked again today. Once again I got "It'll probably come in today once the truck gets here."

Well, EBgames has told me that it is discontinued. Now WTF is going to happen to my pre-order? I'll give them a few more days to get this sorted out, otherwise I'll be getting my money back.

EBgames did it again. This isn't the first time they "discontinued" a game that they originally listed at first. Gamestop seems to be getting the game, though. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=180065

Hmm..interesting. I noted a month or so ago when I was trying to confirm the release date for it, EB had removed Nanostray of their site (it had been there before). I was wondering what happened.
I wish we'd get an update or something so we knew what is going on.

What the heck??? OK, pardon my ignorance but does that basically mean EB said "Hmm, we don't wanna carry this game actually, *delete*"? Idiots. SNK fans would be hopping mad if they'd pulled crap like that with Metal Slug GBA.

Awesome, I really like Craig harris, he is seriously IGN's best reviewer and a great writer, for evidence of this check out his reviews of Yoshi TnG (which despite it's repetitive-ness he praises for its old school scoring emphasis) and his excellent review of Kirby Cursed Canvas.

Definitely gonna pick this up now.

EDIT: Craig basically says int he review it is a solid game if you are looking for a good shooter and the extra score modes add nice replay. However a few issues like the touch screen weapon switching feeling a bit sticky and a somewhat sloppily implemented multiplayer mode kept it from getting a higher score. Still sounds like he really enjoyed it though.

EDIT: I just watched some of the newer videos, beautiful and soem of the best use of the DS's 3D and rotation I have seen. Excellent detail and animation on the enemies. It really does look like a handheld cross between Ikaruga and raystorm but with some tongue in cheek enemies like crabs/bugs. Plus, ya gotta love the sattelite boss with the throbbing brain core. :D

I think the situation with gamestop is unclear. I've been calling their stores, and it seems that the status of the game is uncertain. No one seems to know what's going on with it.

Gamestop has to order it through Majesco, their main supplier doesn't even carry the game.

Everyone else that I've talked to just doesn't carry the game... at all. Aside from those used gamestores that typically have rare releases. Its a shame as its an awesome game. :)
