They also removed a portion of the ending - something to do with developer credit images (or something, not quite sure) because the Wii version was ported by someone else.

This is excellent. I currently do not own a PS3, but I plan on getting one at some point. SoTC is one my favorite games, and while I own Ico, I still have yet to play it. Would be nice to see SoTC in glorious HD to really do the scenery some justice.

This brings great joy into my heart. SOTC is amazing.

Still, I can't get into ICO. The fighting in it is what kills it for me. People may say that's not the point of the game...but you sure have to do it a lot.

I'll completely agree with you. I hated those shadow battles, especially the ones that seemed to go on and on forever. Yes they helped build a protective desire within both the character and the player, but they just were not fun.

Shadow on the other hand was a masterpiece who's only major flaw is the pathetically choppy frame rate and muddy textures. If either are improved in the HD release than i'll be happy.

I heard the two games are gonna be sold separately instead of a bundle. Not that it matters to me, I only care about SotC.

I heard that was the case in Japan, but in Europe and NA it's supposed to be a pack. I've even seen the cover.

I really hope there's an individual option, I really don't like Ico but Shadow is one of my favorite games, I'd rather just get that. Hopefully the Japan game will be cheap enough to import that...

I read that it's 40 bucks for the double pack.

This is the not yet confirmed cover. But these rumors seem to be coming true...so, we'll see..

Um, considering the scan I linked to has each game listed separately... I think the remade games are going to be sold separately.

I really hope that this means that The Last Guardian is to follow soon after these...
I really look forward to that one. :)

These 2 are must have too, so at least it'll keep me happy while waiting for TLG.

Wow, that could be very interesting. I'll need to keep it on ice for several years until 3D sets are affordable investments though.

What was SOTC attempting to run at, frame rate wise, on the PS2? As long as it is stable, that's good.

Hm, separate releases for Japan, just as I thought. I'll be buying whatever version gets out first. Maybe they'll treat Europe to something nice again, it seems to be that way for Team ICO.

I am 100% aok with a solid 30fps - I hope they do that.
IGMO - Poorly emulated, never beaten.

I didn't have any grand expectations anyway. Sooner or later I'll get myself a PC powerful enough to mess around with the PS2 emulation, which hopefully will be improved at that point. I already own both games, thank you very much.
In other news, the 360 port of Radiant Silvergun trailer I watched on YouTube didn't impress me any more than this.

Trailer is up for Ico/SotC on the UK PSN. You can find it under videos/games.

The last Guardian trailer from TGS 2010 is also up there next to it.

SoTC and Ico look quite good actually. I didn't think the TLG trailer was that great due to the music. The original trailer was much better in that regard.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Which music was that? The last one I saw had the same tune as in Miller's Crossing, which totally confused my brain (a bit like drinking red lemonade), as despite what was happening on the screen all I could see was a hat blowing through a leafy forest.

I agree, they do look nice. I can't say there's much on the new consoles I'm looking forward to, but these two are very much welcome.

Besides the last guardian. I actually want to know more about the game. With SotC, I had a feeling for what was coming, but I really have no clue yet with Last Guardian other than it's by those guys who make those games I like.

There should be a translation of a somewhat detailed interview about the game's premise somewhere on the 'webz. Anyways, I think between watching the trailer, comparing with ICO & SOTC and read that interview, it's not hard at all to draw fairly accurate assumptions on how the game will be - It's pretty much "in your face" that you'll be platforming and sneaking your way around humonguos Ico-ish ruins, all the while guiding and taking care of your feathered friend. Of course I could be totally off-track here...naaaah, I'm sure I'm not.
