Street Fighter Alpha 3 DC- Questions

Post by evil_ash_xero »

I was thinking about getting this, but the load times in these older systems has kept me away.

Does this load constantly like the Saturn and PS versions, or is it a fast and accurate port?

You really have issues with the Saturn version? I felt it was even better than the DC version. I own it and there are practically no load times.

I didn't specifically mean that game for the Saturn. I had the first two for the Saturn, and would like them to be "instant". I never played the third one on it. I'm guessing it used a cart.

The Dreamcast version has resized sprites that screw up the hit detection and combos.

The Dreamcast game (not sure on FMS version) also nerfs CC V-ism. Load times shouldn't be too bad, but if that's your main concern, stick to Street Fighter Alpha Anthology (Zero Fighters Generation) on PS2. The only loading there is to load up the given game. If you'd want more detail, send me a message later.

Plus, I made a topic about Zero/Alpha 3 a few years back, so check that out: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... et+Fighter

Saturn version is the best version of this game; regardless of load times.
