i bought this street fighter 2 world warrior jamma board on ebay. When i got it i noticed my wire harness for connecting the kick buttons was bigger than the one on the board. I goes in but i can seem to make the buttons work. The prongs go in nice and tight but i dont know how to line it up. The Wire harness is obviously bigger than the prongs. The lil wires that go into my harness dont line up with the prongs on the board. Either the white wires are not in if i scoot it over one side or the black ones are not in. Do i need a different harness? Pease help.
That harness is for CPS-2 games and some others, such as Street Fighter EX etc. I have SFEX myself and that looks like what I have, so I'm guessing you may have some other fighting games it works on.
Anyway, the Street Fighter 2 pinout is different, as you can see there are only ten pins, and their pinout is:
I bought Bob Robert's cables, which allows me to easily change between different configurations. Have a look here: http://homearcade.org/BBBB/plus.html

I bought the CPS II, Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat cables. I then soldered the control panel side's cables to my supergun's edge connector, so I can now easily switch between games. I don't have Mortal Kombat any more, so I cut it up and now use it for my trackball on Centipede. If you only have SF2 then you'd only need one harness like the one on that Jamma Boards page. If you have a cabinet with a few games the Bob Roberts method is better.
