Stereometry Week

In mathematics, solid geometry was the traditional name for the geometry of three-dimensional Euclidean space — for practical purposes the kind of space we live in. It was developed following the development of plane geometry. Stereometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various solid figures including cylinder, circular cone, truncated cone, sphere, and prisms.

So three-dimensional Space, cylinder, circular cone, truncated cone, sphere, and prisms. Almost sounds like a tube shooter. Or I could just be reading too much into and it's just a game with stereo.

Um, isn't a fundamental requirement of the tournament that it be a game we can all play in mame? Geometry Wars wouldn't work.

not necessarily mame, but any simple emulator or easy to access game

if they wanted us to actually play something like thunder force iv, I don't see why not (except for how silly it is of course)

1.) Arguing over whether or not it's a shmup
2.) Complaining about how doujins suck
3.) Complaining about how it's random/inconsistent (this might be legit)
4.) Not working on older PCs (this is definitely legit)

I was hoping 'stereo' might refer to double play, but I'm guessing the fact it demands more specific controller arrangements (two sticks or a properly synced dual stick pad) might make it too excluding for this competition.

I'd love it to be Viewpoint though. It's a game I've had a ling while and never played.
