i put ketsui back in a few weeks ago, taking a while to get back into it. ive hit 60 mil a few times now, but mostly mid-high 40-50 mil runs at best. on a good note, i think im scoring better in 2 and 3 than i used to, but the first part of 4 is beating me down more than it used to now. hitting 10 million point marks earlier than i remember doing before at least. i must reclaim my king of the scrubs title.

Excellent score Valgar! Going after doom is a crazy goal, especially the req for the special loop.

What's the breakdown like, and potential first round clear score?

Hi,

I never ever use bombs because it is against the special (URA) loop requirements. Also I feel that I am only pushing away sections that need to be learned by bombing. Right now it is like...

1st Stage end Score = 18-19.5 million
2nd Stage end Score = 45+ million (extend is achieved)
3rd Stage end Score = 80+ million
4th Stage end Score = 100+ million

That run the music glitched and was playing at half speed, but I died from NIGHTMARE during the section where you move backwards. I only had 2 lives going into the 5th stage I think, I died a bunch in the 4th level...argg.

I am unsure of the potential score, but I am hoping for at least 200 million. The record Ketsui scores are getting 240 from the first loop.

how are you getting such a high score on the 1st stage?

Raise multiplyer for mid-boss, milk the boss, only get 5 boxes throughout the stage. Total 5 boxes for a 19.5 million score is about 630 (643 is my highest).

that is a sick sick method..this game actually makes you learn how to dodge and milk enemies.. instead of bullet canceling like galuda and progear...

guess i should look into implementing teams into scores.victoly.com (enter some scores there, kaneda needs competition!).

your score distribution is ridiculous. do you know how it compares to imakichi's replay score? my best recent run was when i hit 45 mil at the end of stage 3. my goal for now is just 80 mil and/or 1cc. ill retire for a while again unless i think i can hit 100, and go back to sucking at doj i guess.

Man, that's w/ fucking up twice on stage 3, and once on stage 4. I was kicking ass on Stage 5, and ran into a freakin little guy I forgot to shoot.
