I'd only recommend playing it if you want to make the Japanese one seem far better!

Alright. I borrowed my girlfriend's laptop, and I got the game up and running at full speed. Seems my machine was just too old and crappy.

Anyone know how I can disable changing the master volume when usign mame in windowed mode?

for some reason, pressing the shoot button makes a volume bar pop up and pressing left or right on my pad then makes the bar go up or down.

wtf

and I can't find anything specific in the control setups

edit: never mind, found out what was causing it

The Euro version is horrendous, but I'm really having fun with the Japanese version now...

Absolutely awful game. I enjoyed last week's Cyvern, but playing Xexex is like pulling teeth.

Can't see myself working hard to improve my score.

Game is pretty fun. Should be able to clear the first loop with no troubles at this rate.
Autofire + no way to erase your initials = bad.

thats bull, the only difference is you have lives in one and energy blocks in the other, it hardly makes a difference, either way the game still sucks.
