Are we going to count PSP scores? I can usually find more time to play the PSP as well...

Looking forward to playing this game more this week. I got a bit frustrated when I played Xexex on the PSP but now that I'm trying it on MAME with the bigger screen, saturn pad and save states to boot-- I feel right at home. Expect some loop 2 madness from me. 8)

I'll probably practice with my PSP at work, then go at it when I get home on MAME.

We should be able to. It's identical to the Japanese arcade counterpart, as far as I know.

Just rotated my cab and gave this twenty minutes. Early score:

Skykid - Team Casino Royale - 255,500 - 1-3 - MAME

I'm liking it so far, but in time I can see I'll learn to hate it.

The mention of save states on a hi score thread brings the whole thing crashing down... what's the point?
Still, interesting game having never played it before. Nice graphics - stage 3 boss is a stunner.

It's a timed competition, dude. Practice aids. Please don't assume I'm submitting scores from runs I've actively used save states in, that would be heresy.

Yeah - Aquas is a good guy, even if he is a bitter rival of Team Casino Royale a thus the embodiment of all that is evil, unpleasant and useless. He, like many others, will just be using save states to drill certain bits.

I'm to stupid for save states, and just like doing it the old fashioned way...

Hahaha me too.

Thought of doing it on Cyvern, but I'm a MAME noob. I didn't know how to do it, and I was too lazy to try figuring out.
