Cool shmups cab
I've been meaning to show this. It's a cab I made that I keep at the coffee shop around the corner. (my brothers playing it). I know some of you will get mad, but it's actually a real thrill to play on the cab, and intense to try and beat your/friends scores with the funky joystick. Set the difficulty low, try and handle your ship, and have a visceral experience.
The control is very responsive, it just takes a lot of strength and your whole arm to move. (just like a real jet ha ha)

Re: Cool shmups cab
That's just the first level- it gets intense later. It only takes a few bullets, maybe a single spread, to get VERY intense with that joystick. I switch that game out with dodonpachi every month or two.
I guess you've got to note that it takes quarters, so when the moneys on the line, it's not to hard to be a little open minded.

Actually I thought that guy was in SoCal, not Salt Lake City. Besides I'm the only one stupid enough to do that.kernow wrote:I just realised the thread poster is the same guy who sprayed an egret 2 black.

Re: Cool shmups cab
I'm the one who painted the egret red, boosted the monitor angle with a back of the cab extension, and put it on huge wheels so it would be as tall as my American cabs.Dave_K. wrote:Actually I thought that guy was in SoCal, not Salt Lake City. Oh, I remember now, that was an original egret 29, and quite a long time ago.
