Nice improvement tonight. Started Stage 3 with no lives and no bombs. Expected to die at the ugly tanks, but I dodged my balls off and beat them. Then I picked up a bomb which got me to the Stage 3 Boss and an Extend which let me fight it longer.



Despite the new score, this was actually a terrible run. Messed up the medaling badly in Stage 1 and didn't max them out until Stage 2. Then lost the chain in stage 3. Also missed out on a lot of potential medals due to poor Banish gauge management. Honestly, I probably left at least half a million on the table. Hopefully I can pick up some of that slack.

Not sure if I'll be able to play much more before the deadline, but I'm gunning for 3 Million and/or Stage 4 now.

I think this is my final run. So many "How the fuck did I make it through that?!" moments after the oddly simple final boss, I think I've used up all of my luck

First time into stage 5. I was just frustrated in this run, lost my medal chain multiple times. Couldn´t believe when I defeated the stage 4 boss without any extra lives left at the beginning of the boss fight. The stage 2 boss in 1-5 finished me off then. Next came my best scoring run ever, but of course it ended at the 1-4 boss... otherwise the first digit would be a 6 by now.
Well I hope I can spend enough time tomorrow to get the additional 300,000 points and then I´d be content with this first week.
