What did you expect from the average iPhone user...

I expect them to learn2play. They seem to be able to glitch Cats Physics like crazy, why can't they beat R-Type? :P

Fun "port" is fun, but my fingers often get in the way on the left side of the screen.

That is asinine. I'm not surprised though, as I read a lot of asinine comments on the internet.

+1

The other controls are just garbage too. Seems the touch screen works somewhat for verts but not at all for horis.

It's alright for $1.99. As mentioned, the controls are rubbish.

Awh, and here I was hoping for a good port when I read the title <_< Got a 2G iTouch so no Galuda for me. Was thinking of grabbing it as it's only $2 but meh, rubbish controls + my fat fingers = probably unplayable.

If enough people complain in reviews, they usually go back and try to address the problems. I've seen apps and games evolve plenty of times after an initial purchase.

I downloaded it. Worth $2 for nostalgia but the controls suck. I can't get used to the tilt control...the dpad control is way too touchy. And the touch control is decent but obviously your finger gets in the way. I keeping getting hit by bullets I don't even see!

I do like being able to choose any stage that I've beaten though. A virtual analog stick would be the best option IMO.
