Honestly, the Double Down isn't that bad at all. I guarantee if it had been the exact same thing, just inside of a bun, it wouldn't have been nearly as big a deal. Anyways, this is interesting, but I don't think it's anything I would want to try. I like Whoppers and pizza separate, thank you

I think it's designed to be shared by a couple of people and seems comparable to pizza in terms of calories. A large hand tossed pizza with pepperoni from Domino's has ~2400 calories. It's still pretty bad, splitting it between 4 people would still be over 600 calories per person, but compared to other stuff... eh.

Some grocery store around here was selling precooked pizza burgers around here years ago, and an ex-girlfriend and I used to get them on occasion or even make them from scratch. Tasty stuff.

That being said, I would totally try the BK pizza burger despite not caring about BK food that much.

Yeah, the price they charge for them is insane. I had one the day they came out (mostly due to hype with my co-workers about it), and was like "$5 for this?". The only times I've had one since is when I'm low on insulin on hand (hooray diabetes!) and need something to eat that's not high in carbs. Of course, in that case, if I'm out, I typically go for a Low Carb Thickburger or a Jimmy John's Unwich.

As far as flipping over cars, well that's the problem. For a whole demographic that only leaves their chair or bed to sit in their car, 2,500 calories is more than they should expend in a day. When I'm being lazy, I often only eat two meals/day cuz your body don't need that shit.

Goddamn, so if only I could upload this picture. Today was my last day at the grocery store, so I made this amazing sandwich I've been perfecting. The bread was a slice of pepperoni pizza and a slice of cheese with a chicken strip and potato wedges in the middle...It was sublime.
