The horizontal space shmup is being co-developed through a new partnership between Suda's Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality. Grasshopper will provide art direction, music and sound. Digital Reality, perhaps best known as the developer of the Imperium Galactica games, will be publishing the title. The partnership between the two companies will also include "a range of [other] titles," though no information about further releases was forthcoming.
Sine Mora is scheduled for a worldwide Q3 2011 release and will support 3D in the PSN version. The lack of major announcements at this year's convention prompted Suda to joke that "this is going to be the biggest announcement of this Gamescom.

First jointly-developed title ‘Sine Mora’ will be available on PSN and XBLA; other titles to follow
Grasshopper Manufacture, Inc. (GhM), and Digital Reality (DR) are proud to announce their partnership for co-developing a range of games. Their first title will be an innovative shooter called ‘Sine Mora’, which mixes traditional side-scrolling gameplay with unique time manipulation mechanics.

As the first step of this collaboration, Grasshopper Manufacture, Inc. and Digital Reality announced today at gamescom the co-development of Sine Mora for PSN and XBLA. Sine Mora takes advantage of the newest in 3D display technology to deliver an horizontal side-scrolling shooter unlike any other, with a unique twist on time manipulation.
