Not really a pretty ending to this story (other than you get the mags). SAL printed materials is the cheapest. It's roughly going to run you about 3000 yen for 10 magazines. These are the prices I came up with when I bought a set (yes, a full set) of Sega Saturn Magazine. It was the biggest fucking box you have ever seen, and was of course, very heavy. I eventually had to trash most of them b/c people wouldn't put up w/ the shipping.

I fully considered that paper is heavy, so as long as I get the mags and I'm not paying more for shipping than I did for the stuff, I'm a happy cave fanboy

I just mailed a small box of books home yesterday via seamail and it cost me almost $50. Good luck getting a large box of magazines over for $50. If you do pull something off though, let me know what ya did.
Still, I'm sure you'll get your money's worth out of em - that's one hell of a haul!
I have almost all of those issues...I went through and looked for CAVE stuff that isn't translated but didn't see much. There might be one page of Progear stuff though that needs to be translated?
The ones I don't have are mostly earlier issues. Also I am missing basically the entire Ketsui strategy period.
Man, this makes me wish I hadn't trashed all my old Nintendo Power issues a couple of years ago, before I got back into gaming. I even had the first issue, which I got back in 1987-it was mostly about Super Mario Bros. 2!

I should warn you: I did the same, and they reached me in four months' time.
Well, I don't need any of them right away, and sending them EMS would have cost me $120... and that would have been a horrid waste of money. *Sigh* Stupid Pacific Ocean! Why do you have to be so big!!!

Dang, I'm gonna have to come vist you all down in Phoenix sometime! Except for the minor problem that it's been 10 years this month since I've flown anywhere.

Mine was from San Diego to India (though the people at the post office did say 6 weeks). Maybe it will take less time
