Why pre-order the LE when you have no idea what will come with it yet? That's nearly £80.

I'm fairly certain it was announced with an Arrange Soundtrack and ver. 1.51. But honestly it's a Cave release, i've loved most of the LE's so far and I've had a strong interest in DFK for a while so for me the choice was easy.

Play Asia's got some 'splainin to do:
Besides announcing the newest Do Don Pachi port, Cave has also scheduled a release for an Xbox360 version of Pink Sweets, the sequel to Ibara, and Muchi Muchi Pork Bundle. This disc contains both of Yagawa Shinobu's colorful shooters and will be out in 2011.

The voluptuous girls and eye candies are here in HD. The enemy characters - the five Rose Garden sisters, become player characters, be sure to try out their planes and their special shots.

DeathSmiles sold well. Expect to see these games out in the US in 6 months.

That doesn't mean it's improved.

You expect these to be there within 6 months when there is nothin on Death Smiles II or even the earlier ports?

DSII wasn't very well received so don't expect that any time soon. I'd definitely expect DFK though as it's their most well known franchise and seems to be more popular in the mainstream.

I don't think so either. I think PA's got the wrong info.

Verticals and the west does not seem to go hand in hand.

Guwange won't get HD graphics. Known since it's first announcement.

My bad, I dont know why I thought that. I think someone had posted some screenies in the guwange thread that looked enhanced to me. Either way Im happy Cave is releasing all these.

Cave World's English blog has their CAVE Matsuri post up now. What REALLY caught my attention is this:
CAVE WORLD Official Blog (EN) wrote:It would be nice if we could hold a “CAVE Matsuri” overseas once a year…
I'd go to it if it were to happen. :o

Agreed. Maybe we all should begin thinking of setting up some kind of convention for shmups. Or, three seeing how there are a few major groupings. Brazil seems to have enough players, Casino in UK for Europe, Toronto or Chicago for North America.
Shmupcon 2012, let's do this. We can have companies come and pander us for once. I'll help, I have no reason not to.
Japan, screw you. You guys get to go to these kinda things all the time. For this we thank you for the info, and diligent coverage.
Middle Asia, I dunno, there's what like 12 of you here? Okay, maybe more. Visit Japan? You're on you're own. Or, come to upstate New York, you can stay at my house for the weekend and play my Saturn.

I think a North American "conference" would be feasible, depending on where and how big of a place it was set up in.
Feedback will set you free.

More than you might expect actually. Earlier this year Cave did a Japanese survey asking what fans wanted to see ported to XBLA and Pink Sweets ranked #5.

So of the older titles what lacks a port?

PRO GEAR no Arashi I assume CAPCOM owns the right for this one?
ESPRADE
Then of course the puzzle games that would probably sell like hotcakes on XBLA/PSN.

I want to see that Mushi Bug Panic game. It looked pretty cool for a puzzler.

Until people see the Cave logo and demand their money back because they think it's yet another boolit hell game.
