Toaplan verts the MD/Genesis? Also, DS shmuppin'

I want some shooting love on my DS and other than ketsui, there doesn't seem to be much, at least in terms of emulation. Since the only good MD emulator on the DS does not scale horizontally (but does vertically), that means you will not have the entire game displayed and have to use L and R buttons to scroll. And yeah, I don't like SNES shooters.

That basically means that the only shmups that are decently playable (fullscreen view) are toaplan games since the left side of the screen is just used for a black border for score display.

Now my question is, which of those are good or close to arcade?
V-5 seems rocking, and I heard Truxton is too easy and worthless.

Also, what else is there on the DS? I know theres Nanostray and that homebrew touhou game.

It's *easier* than the other versions, sure; but it's still Truxton. The Genesis version of Fire Shark is much, much less difficult than it is, anyways.

Both are great games, regardless.

V-V (Grindstormer) Is great. Truxton isnt worthless just play on hard and once you get to 2nd loop you should be at a challenge.
I dont think there is a PCE emulator for DS but if they do have one you must get Spriggan and Nexzr!

There is, and the games I've tested works great.

1942 arcade has been emulated for DS as well.

Did you check Metal torrent via Dsi ware ? Looks quiet good... If you own a Dsi.
