Approximately Ketsui
Approximately Ketsui
I've never played Ketsui- the closest I've got so far is Death Label on the DS, but is there anything similar for PC. The game seems so utterly hallowed (and I'm sure justifiably so), so are there any decent clones or imitators?

Re: Approximately Ketsui
x.x's Blue Wish Resurrection feels very Ketsui-inspired.
Re: Approximately Ketsui
I think I felt a little Ketsui vibe in Crimson Clover as well.

Yes- Exed extra is definitely warm and getting warmer but why is it in that annoyingly small window, even on fullscreen setting?

Esprade is a bit similar as well.

On fire now! Zillion Beatz seems kinda great and I wonder why there's so little mention of it (in fact only 51 times in these forums though I guess we might bump that up a bit now).TrevHead (TVR) wrote:theres zillion Beatz aswell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEYnI9G0 ... re=related from what others have said its a mix of DDP and Ketsui

I don't understand this. You'd rather play cheap imitations of Ketsui than the real thing? Damn.

Just trying, and loving, ToriTatsu nowSubterranean Sun wrote:Have you tried ToriTatsu?

One of the things I love about these forums is that I can wake up, post a question and suddenly be playing a bangin' shooter I'd never heard of before and it's not even lunchtime!

Re: Approximately Ketsui
In a maybe the least popular reply to a thread ever - I'd say doj... But then I'm being slightly facitious since on the fidelity side they do move, score, bullet pattern differently ...
... but... the scale and militaristic visual bent seem close; they are basically twins separated at birth after all.

YGS2000 (or whatever it's called) imitates some Ketsui patterns, though it does a terrible job on Evaccaneer DOOM.

Speaking of DOOM, there is a 99% accurate replica of that fight for Danmakufu.RNGmaster wrote:YGS2000 (or whatever it's called) imitates some Ketsui patterns, though it does a terrible job on Evaccaneer DOOM.
It's just a little slower...mainly because of the engine.
